SuperLarry get dirty

here is my last grow in this space:

8 plants of bullskunk (bs) from femenized seed in a 22" deep closet that is 5 feet wide. put them in a scrog in 3 gallon buckets under a cool tube digital 600w hortilux. bloomed 55 days yield 7.5 oz's. fox farm ocean forest with 25% perlite and fed cutting edge 3 part as described plus cal-mag and a little bit of mother of all blooms.

now i have a bunch of seeds ready to go and not sure how i want to do it. these seeds are 30 days from germination vegging under a t5. there are 10 of the bullskunks feminized (bs) and 6 sonra. i got the sonra from somebody from europe and i figure i hope they are 50% female. they are in 1 gallon containers with same mix of fox farm ocean forest and 25% perlite. my thoughts are these. if i put them all into bloom i can't scrog because some of the sonra could be male. im not sure if these plants will hold themselves up. i could just go with the ten bullskunks and scrog them. i want to make sure i can keep a clone of the best bs and sonra to be mothers. im considering building a better space for my light because the 22" deep is really killing my light spread as the cooltube runs parallel with the width of the closet, the light is spread more front to back; when it needs to be side to side, but thats the only way i can fit the reflector in there with ducting. i guess i might just flower the 10 bullskunks as that would be the easiest solution and i can hope for another 8z's. any input or comments appreciated!

Nice looking grow. :smile::yes:
I think building a new space for those plants is a great idea. That small area was much too small widthwise to get good efficiency out of the space. If you had a light mover than that would probably a good growroom but the new space sounds good with a 600w. You should be able to pull few more ozs at least.

i think putting in a scrog is going to be a hassle with watering all these 3 gallon pots. im considering using tomato cages instead. i need to be able to water them and have run-off but if they are in a fixed position then i have to soak up the water with towels or perhaps a pump. with the tomato cages i can move them around as i wish and water them outside the box. any suggestions?

You could allways do a simplier and low manteinance big SOG... as it is!!
11 mega top Kolas... plus theres´s the space for a good secondary bud development...
But its your call... if you wanna have the work, youll probabbly yeld more if you scrog each one with that better solution your thinking (tomatoes cages). :D

PS - For the big soggy thing I guess they should be a bit bigger... cant see exactly how much theyr gonna grow...

If all goes well, what a nice welcome home that will be, a smelly room full of thriving, flowering plants, it will be like seeing someone you missed for along time again. :muahaha: Nice plants. :lurk:

thanks dog. i know i would have done a lot better with a scrog or some sort of training because my number of bud sites is really low considering the size of these beauties. im not that worrried about it though, they are healthy and thats all i can ask for. i really just want to see how the sonra turns out. im going to be setting back up our aeroflo40 and running MOD's dreamweaver x godbud soon.

yes, i like the space of the new room. i think i need a better reflector. i read that the cooltubes dont have the best light distribution. i also am considering an agrosun bulb instead of this eye hortilux. i read somewhere that the lumatek ballasts do better with agrosun bulbs? anyone know anything?

Day 28 flower and it seems slow going....

the plants look healthy but they are taking forever to hair up and bud. maybe im just anxious.... any thoughts? maybe the super stretch and long flower means these are sativa phenos?

They do look very healthy, very lush. I don't think you're being anxious at all, they seem to be very slow flower-ers :badday:

Don't sweat it though, give it time. Some strains are just quicker to crown than others.

They do look great though. What kind of nuts are you using, and how many pure water feedings to nute feedings do you do?
