Superfruit-- 10+ years in the grow.

Sweet, I've seen the fox tailing in some of SOma's strains and know what your talking about. The first time i saw it, i thought it was pretty werid, but then showed it to a couple of friends and they said they've seen that in super good stuff.

The superfruit will do this fox-tailing right at the end of flowering with many spikes or threads coming out of many of the buds at ripening.

I've noticed the spikes in my Thai, and as soon as i read this i couldn't believe this. I've got the same thing happening to my Thai. The spikes not the fox tails, but the spiking. I'll get a picture soon. The light are going to go off soon. I've never seen buds like this before. The hairs and spike are long and very stright. It's werid because i've never seen a bud structor like the Thai before. It is getting very dense and big, but has those spikes all over her. I'm glad i got a keeper off of her. I'll get a picture up soon. Thanks again for all the info
Later

Edit: I'll have to get a picture tomorrow. Camera is giving me some shit. Can't wait to get a kickass camera in stead of this low-end junk. I'll pull one so i can get more light and no flash.

Hello Everyone

Hello Everyone

Hey there, new to the site but i've been around OG for a while. The Capt told me to come check this site out. Anyway, had to come and support my friend Capt. Crip here. The Superfruit is everything and more than what hes told you. It is such an awesome strain to say the least. I was lucky enough to sample it, and i guess it wasn't flushed of chems, wasnt cured, and really wasnt to its full potential by any means but it got me higher than anything else i've tried. I am not a light smoker either ;) Anyway, the smell, and the frostiness of the strain caught my eye right away, i knew i was in for a treat.

Thanks for swinging by SS........

Thanks for swinging by SS........

.............or should I say ,,,Pacific Northwest Grown,I like that username. Thanks for the comps on your little sample. And yes it was just hacked off the plant and quick dried(3-1/2 days),stuck in the little containers and sent to you.Actually nowhere near it's full potential as it was not even fully mature yet.I'll get you a fully matured, flushed and even a little cure!!!!!!:)
The second pollination of the larger superfruit is going to yeild plenty of the Superfruit X Blueberry beans, they seem to be popping up everywhere!!!!!This is a good thing!!

I hope to see you around here more often,I think you will enjoy the family like atmosphere.:) Very laid back and seldom an argument.None of the petty childish bullshit.Take care PNW:wave: See you around soon!..............................CC

Soon my friend

Soon my friend

I'm thinling 10 days until they darken up and then some drying time. Not very long.I have found a few of the SF X BG seeds ,but very few.2 so far but I'm just smoking a little of the smaller stuff to refresh my memory:D .I just found a few deep in the little bud,so they were from my first attempt to pollinate with the bubblegum pollen.Hopefully I will be able to find 20 or 30 so I can send some testers of this strain to you guys and girls.
The Blueberry Sativa seems to have taken pretty well,so if anyone decides they would like to try that one just let me know here.Noone picked that cross from the beginning. It has the most intense flavor, tickles the tastebuds! It's crossed to the Blueberry male.Should have excellent results. The buds are small and pointed, but quite compact.Personal head-stash weed!Definitely connoisseur grade weed!Might actually be intresting for a blueberry.:)
I'm going to germinate several of my seeds tonight to run some tester plants this go-round with you fellas.I have some new seeds I'm growing right now that my wife and I got about 6 months ago.A friend of mine goes through lots of import weed,in fact that's all he does for a living. He always collects the best buds from the best batches for me to see and take seeds from if I want them.19 out of 20 times I turn down the beans. My wife and I went over there I guess it's been about 6 months ago and he pulled out a 1/4 lb. and said to check this out.The buds were from medium lenth to quite long on some of them. The resin was all red, almost like a bright brick color.Very unique. He said it was the best import he could remember.Completely different than anything else he had shown me over the years.Very earthy spicy, not anything like Neville's,absolutely nothing like that, this was more earthy,I really can't explain the odor, almost like it was hot, maybe it was a Black Pepper-like odor.
Well anywayz, after we get halfway home and about 3/4 of the way through the joint and she's over there yelling something at me.When I finally tune her in she's saying what in HE** is wrong with you, didn't you hear me ?Are you OK?I was all up over the top of the steering wheel and wouldn't even blink my eyes I was so scared I was going to wreck,or that someone was going to drift over into my lane
  :( I was paranoid as can be!She was talking shit to me like I was some kinda punk that couldn't hang. She tries to pass the j back to me and I say no way!She chuckles and takes a few more puffs and that's the last thing I hear from mouth over there.Because after that 2nd puff ,she starts wigging out!And I start laughing my ass off at bigmouth. It was very intense paranoia inducing weed!I loved it and the tolerance level never faded for me.It kept on keeping on for the whole ounce that we smoked.I love the looks of the seedlings although I figured it would be a little more sativa-like.I have high hopes for this weed but it will be sometime before I will be able to test the product from the seeds. There were 29 seeds in the ounce, and yes,I plan to grow this "bagseed"!Not any hesitation on my part what so ever!I may give 5 or 10 of these seeds away,,I'm still undecided Hopefully this will yeild something worth keeping in the parent pool...........................................CC:wave:

Hey CC. Still need BlueBerry Sativa testers?

Hey CC. Still need BlueBerry Sativa testers?

Am I asking too late again? Now I see you have started Kryptonite. I guess I just wasn't paying enough attention. The one strain that I have none of that I would like to try in a grow is some blueberry, so if you want a tester for that product, I've got my hand up over here! Thanks for the Kindness!

Those earlier pics of the sprawled out fruit plant with a plethora of tight chunky nugs reminded me of the old willie's phenotype in bud structure and dev. I've only seen that spiking phenom. in old school G-13 plants. When the tops spiked at the end, that's how I knew they were just about really mature! Nice work, hope im lucky enuf. to add these genes to my own!
Kudos from fellow norwest med. grower,
Say hey to "J" for me,
I love his work and always wished I'd run into him somewhere.

ps is it true he lost the blueberry heirloom strains used to
make blue satelite???

oh yeh, I forgot

oh yeh, I forgot

to add that i have some nice blueberry-shiskaberry crosses that I will list as soon as I figure out how to list beans- They were the best Shk#3 females I got from SD and an astounding blueb. Male from SD.
That bagweed you wrote of reminds me of the schwaggy looking seeded brown thai weed I got in amsterdam in 1990. It was 25Guilders for 1.2g. I thought we'd been ripped off until we rolled a j in the lobby. Not even to the halfway point and were putting it out and b-lining for the room. I spent the next six hours floored to my bed-wondering where I would muster the energy from to be able to sit up and walk to the bathroom in order to pee. I wasn't able to fight it long enough to become fully prostrate in bed. I got so paranoid that we never made it out that night to the city. And before this trip, I'd been smoking roughly a 1/4 of soap and 1/8 grass a day in cambridge, england so its not as if i was a lightweight. Amazing- and it wasn't opiated either if that's what y'all thinking. no other drugs involved!
Maybe you'd be up for some kinda gene trade?
cheers,

Yep, no opiate

Yep, no opiate

That weed was loco-weed.I swear I was tripping, sure felt that way.It was like I was inside of a video game and if I wrecked ,I lost. When I finally payed attention to what she was saying,I had figured out that I was about to climb over the steering wheel!Only going about 40mph in a 55 zone and feeling like you are going 70!
As for the Blue Satellite(original F1)The "parents are toast" in BS's own words.Yes they were lost in Switzerland.Gypsy has auctioned of a few packs of the very first one's ever made ,before they were # 1 and# 2 .After these few F1's that are around are gone, that's it,no more.I have a couple of different lines that I'm testing right now.The ones at seedbay are made with the super-vigorous female that I have.I also have one that a chunky-chunky indica pheno was used.I only have a few of these seeds here at the house, but I plan to make more of this line also, very nice high with these plants.Mind-warping connoiseur grade herb!

As far as the Superfruit is concerned,,,,THE FIRST CROSSES ARE UP ON SEEDBAY RIGHT NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D  ;) :) HOR-------RAY!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Super-Fruit

Happy Birthday Super-Fruit

I know exactly that feeling of going 40 in a 55 and feeling like you're doing 70. Nice description. I hope i'm lucky enough to have the priviledge of raising some of those babies. I had some of that really good hawian back in like 84' when I was a young kid. They were selling it still packed in the tincan. It was mindblowing.
I wouldn't and couldn't ever believe it would be possile for someone to lose such beloved stains such as an heirloom blueb. (purp thai) if it weren't for the fact that it happened to me in 1996 with the original G-13, william's wonder, purple haze, early girl, and the early nevil's haze. Everything fell apart, and after a few stupid mistakes, I had lost all my vintage ten year old strains!
Oh well, live and learn- Thank's to propostion 215, I've been able to pursue that hobby at leisure!
Thanks for the reply,
mark

I remember the mid-80's Hawaiian

I remember the mid-80's Hawaiian

We used to get it these big steel cans like they ship veggies to restaurant in.If I remember correctly it was a peanut butter can.I remember poping the top off with a can-opener and smelling that wonderful Hawaiian spice!Mind-numbing weed!I think you could take even mid-grade mexican weed and grow it there and end up with a dynamite product. There's just something about that climate.I think it's better than southeast asia! And that's a bold statement.Take care..................CC
