I use 1 drop per cup for soaking seeds, 2-3 drops per gallon for initial feedings of seedlings, 2 drops per gallon when rooting clones, and one drop per gallon after transplanting plants. I don't use it at all for normal vegetating or flowering.

I use it for germ and repotting...the residual effects are long lasting...
as with all suppliments more usually doesn't equal better...I don't think there is any
reason to add any more after the last repot...always mix the hell out of it and draw it
into the eye dropper immediately after shakin it up...some believe each drop may differ
radically in ingredient amounts because you are dealing with micro level mixes and
results might be unstable...I like it and only use a drop a gallon for repots..
and about four drops in a shot glass for pre-germ till the seeds drop...then germ with just
water on damp papertowels smeared with a small amout of soil...
so like everything else, it is a matter of opinion...transplanting is nearly seemless with it me thinks...

Does the soil help?...beats me..but I like the way the seed is cradled by moist soil..

that soil seems to me as a little overkill but whatever works for you go for it.

Hiya packn

So that's your secret, you treat the seeds to a little spa mud bath, sure is a good way to encourage girls ( ducking ).

I've used Superthrive for years in the garden outside. I've burned up a couple of 420 plants using the stronger concentrations that some have success with.

These compounds are all derivatives of the naturally occuring "auxin" ( only called a rooting hormone a bazillion years ago when I was schooled ) indoleacetic acid. By replacing the indole group with larger / bulkier molecular chains degradation slows so the effect lasts longer. Effects of IBA ime last 1-2 weeks, naa far longer some say as long as 6-8 weeks in the ground. Like with hormones in our body, a little goes a long way, and more is often not better.

I use 1/2 cap full per gal right after repotting. This grow I'm going without just for something different. As always I will be using it for bonsai transplants this spring.

Good thread Father Time
