I have recieved a few SSH seeds they are crossed with something though i cant remember. i think AWW.. Also have read good things about this strain. peace..

issack - if you veg them to height of your box - where are you going to put the stretch in flower . On the OG Strainguide there's reports of flipping to flower at 6" and plants end up 2-3'.

I'm new to this too - just a week into flower. I'm takin a guess - someone else may have a more experienced answer. From what I've read SSH will stretch 3x or more during flower.
I'll be watching to learn what others say about SSH - it's an awesome strain and I'd like to grow it myself sometime.

I grow and am growing two different strains of sativas. They will get very tall during flowering. You need to be patient with sativas. My Ethiopian Highlands will flower out for five months. Granted, most people would not have a strain that flowers that long. It's a wild african strain. I grow for head stash, it's what I like. The super haze from DP is actually a skunk. They claim it's 100% pure sativa. I can tell you now that the leaves and bud don't look or smell like it; we shall see. I seem to have wandered afield. The point I'm slowly easing up on is that if given enough time all that growth will fill in with flowers.
I don't know if that helps at all. Expect your' plants to double and quite possibly tripple in size. My african plant grows like a vine and can take over the room if I let it. But in the end, all that will turn into bud if you have the light. My sativa, and hopefully sativa's will both grow the biggest buds. Best of luck.

Issack nice grow log the guys are giving you good forethought about your height issue, double to tripple is common size gain. LST might be a method that could help you control her wild ways?

update on the SSH...growth slowed down big time. wish i could post some pics but we all are waiting for that...GRRRR. my plants are about a foot tall and almost a foot wide some are alittle less. the SSH clones have stalkes that are almost a half inch around i shit you not. big nice leaves, green, VERY bushy with alot of lower branches..the puna budder x is almost caught up in size but not as thick..the plants are'nt stretching for light at all..growth is just slow....i mean i am on like 30 days of veg!!!!! only a foot tall???..only thing i can think of is my box is 2 feet wide by 8 feet long..1000w on a light rail...so when the light moves to the other end of the cab the plants dont get enough light?? but they would stretch for light if that was the problem yes??..my temps are from 79 to 82 always..co2 is at 1500ppm. watering with neem seed and guano...all the plants look really healthy and fat..nice green leaves and big stalks...what you think is the problem?...cant pinpoint it...hmmmm

Yea i would flip to 12/12 at 6-8" with those. the others are right about double, triple in flower.. like leeroy said LST baaaybee...that will turn them into monster bushes.. Im LSTing and i love it.. Good luck..peace..

I'm on my first grow, and with LST I have 6-10 colas / plant, the height is controlled, and the canopy is even. Very easy to do, and for plants that do stretch it's da bomb!

ive grown clones of my ssh with NO veg time and they have finnished at close to 2m or about 6'
if u have a haze dominant pheno expect it to be one stretchy bitch once you start flowering and not stopping stretching until the 3rd or 4th week
