Super Malawi Haze

After daily temperatures rose steadily to around 30C, am very happy with how SMH is growing. SMH was slower than PHxM and Malawi to kick into veg, I suspect due to temperatures below 25C. SMH up until now has not shown the rapid growth of those other strains, but also has not had the degree of stress the other strains showed from a K deficiency in my soil, although the little SMH does show such symptoms on one lower leaf.

SMH had lots of heat over this past weekend, up to 33C, and was kept in a shady place in the heat of the afternoons + off the hot stone. The little one finally perked up + is due for a larger pot, but all look happy and healthy. The middle one is probably female, judging from growth at the nodes. The third one on the right is a likely male and will be kept for pollen away from the girls. Females will be up-potted soon to 7 gallon pots for flowering. I'll keep the male in the same 13L pot but will add more soil into the bottom of the pot. Cheers all, enjoy your grows!

Now moved on from their "seedling struggles" with heat and underwatering, my three beautiful female ACE regulars (Purple Haze x Malawi, Malawi, and Super Malawi Haze) have now been up-potted to their final destinations! Here I'll post a group photo and below a close-up of the Super Malawi Haze only (close-ups the others will be posted in their respective threads, of course!). All seems well. Comments welcome. Enjoy!

i Have never grown any mostly pure sativas . First time with Ace gear . So far a real pleasure . My soil is mostly pro mix and I brew tea once a week with black strap molasses ,earth worm castings in socks with dragon fly earth medicine lush roots fat flowers radiant green brilliant black and natural mystic and potassium silicate. Plants don’t seem to mind it. Last night I mixed up some copper fungicide and sprayed under over. Come late fall fog can be a killer . Last year my mostly indica crop was mold free . I used copper fungicide until first flowers then stopped. I’m smack on the coast and weather typically good until December . I’m at 41 north.

Got a question about sex, Dr Dubi 😁 about plants‘ gender. Photos below of 2 SMH plants ## 2 & 3. #3 I think is male, #2 female. Do you have a different view?

Not sure which pictures you mean because everone has different views portrait/landscape on a phone or on a pc... I see male flowers at the 422kb and 361kb pic. 531kb pic is blurry but could be a female...
