Si lo fuerte ya pasó que fue del día 4 al día al día 8, y como siempre el pronóstico del tiempo fallo, tormentas como estas todos los años hay pero como esta que dure tanto tiempo no lo vi.pero ya hemos vivido tormentas muchisimo más fuertes que estas y no lo ponían como "huracán" En 2001 callo una mucho más fuerte que esta derribando en toda la isla más de un millón de pinos, 4 muertos 3 días sin luz,barcos que estaban incrustados en los restaurantes coches que estaban dentro del mar en definitiva un caos

Sí. Pero lo de 2001 fue el choque de un anticiclón africano con una borrasca polar que descendido más al sur de lo normal...
Lo inusual de la situación actual es que una típica borrasca subtropical mediterránea, sin choque con otro frente, haya acelerado su giro hasta "saltar" a la categoría de huracán...

Aparte de el introductor del cannabis en America, tu antepasado es también para mi una de las figuras más intrigantes y poliédricas de la Historia de México y de España, y tengo diversos libros sobre su figura... No se si lo has leído a el mismo alguna vez: la edición de Clásicos Castalia y Ángel Diaz (creo recordar) de sus "Cartas de Relación" creo es la mejor.
No puedo, por mi enorme curiosidad histórica, abstenerme de preguntarte si eres de los descendientes de Cortés que también descienden del Emperador Mexica Moctezuma, o de otra de las figuras fascinantes como pocas de aquellos hechos: Malinalli-Malintzin aka Doña Marina...

Súper malawi Haze después de 10 días de tormentas, lluvias extremas y de granizo, la parte de arriba fue partida por el aire, lleva más de 12 días sin ver el sol y hasta el jueves estará sin salir el sol, algunas hojas se quemaron con el granizo, no tiene de momento mucha resina y el olor es parecido a la killer A5 Haze, seguro que se cortara a mediados de diciembre, saludos

Ahí no estoy de acuerdo: conforme bajan las temperaturas el ritmo de desarrollo se ralentiza. Otra cosa es que los "daños o consecuencias" del frío se asemejen visualmente a la maduración.
Por cierto y como "off topic", muchísimas gracias por tus explicaciones y respuestas por privado sobre la figura de Hernán Cortes. No todos los días puede hablarse con un pariente de un personaje de tal relieve histórico. Solo en la tematica cannabica, responsable ultimo de la introducción del cannabis en el continente americano.

Es un poco de todo, primero la fecha de cosecha del Banco aproximadamente, luego la planta sabe que el otoño empezó y ella misma sabe que no le queda mucha vida y con la llegada del fresco se da más prisa en florecer, digo fresco por que aquí teniendo 18,17,16 grados de mínima no es frio y apenas relentiza, cierto es que el fuerte viento quema los pelitos y los vuelve más marrones dando sensación de madurez, pero para eso tengo el microscopio que no miente,donde si note mucha relentizacion y en muchos casos que no terminan de florecer es cultivando en exterior en paralelo o latitud 53 en el norte de europa floreciendo con máximas de 5 a 12 grados y pocas terminan la floración completa y la producion es mínima pero la calidad de la resina es excelente con el frío

Happy Sunday to you all. Well, the temperature has gone up this week and we back in the low 20's every day. Today it was 23c ad a perfectly blue sky. Night time temps are low though, 4-6c. We've not seen any real rain in many months and none is forcast for the next couple of weeks at least. The local farmers are not happy with the lack of rain, but i'm pretty cool about it tbh.

As you can see, a beautifull day!

In the last few days she started to smell more and is now noticable as i walk around the garden. Frankincense and liver. The colas are reallt packing on the weight and are struggling to support themselves. Very small calyxes and pistals but very many of them and lots of resin. She's currently reflowering.

Happy Sunday to you all.

The weather changed on thursday and instead of the low 20's that we had been getting, the wind picked up and the temps dropped somewhat. The wind battered her for 48hrs and then yesterday morning we had rain which lasted most of the day, not too heavy but enough to soak everything.This morning we awoke to find the mountains to the North have a good covering of snow.
This morning it's a case of sun and clouds, with a gentle breeze (Mrs DM is happy, she has the washing on the line and it's drying!).

Despite the strong winds that we had, she is not looking in too bad a shape; the screen has done an excellant job of supporting the very heavy and dense tops. Last saturday i took small branch to dry quickly for a taster and when i tried it this morning, it's already a fine smoke! This is quick dried and without a cure (or ferment!). I'd be happy to take her now, ie 1 week after the sample, but know that she can go further yet. I've taken another branch this morning an, i'd say it's about 5-10 % amber. I'll smoke that next weekend and review her again but in my heart I'd like her to go quite a bit longer yet. The Pheno i had last year (Nev's Haze, I believe) was chopped a little early (bad strom coming) and had been treated with BT, and still was very very strong. This years plant has not been treated with BT now for several weeks and has no trace of it in the early sample. Despite not having had BT for several weeks, she appears not to have any catapillar damage, whereas my GT, on the same BT schedule, has some noticeable damage. I'm not making the same mistake this year on my GT as i did with the SMH last year; The catapillars can have a few buds if they must, Lol.

Intenta protegerla del fuerte viento directo todo lo que puedas para evitar que los pistilos se quemen, y ponla si es posible en un lugar que reciba toda la luz directa posible, aunque a estas alturas del año entiendo depende mucho de la orientación de tu terraza.

Jejeje, dubi. I’ve left the little SMH until this weekend. She was still spitting a few new pistils. Harvesting is a joy. Trimming is a bitch. But it is a very calm bitch
