Super Glue and Broken Glass Slide Equals Treasure

A couple days ago, an old friend showed me a box of stuff destined for destruction. The box had a gorgeous glass water pipe sitting in it, with a broken slide jammed inside.

I picked it up and looked it over carefully. He said I could take it, since it was a "wortheless piece of crap", since there was no way in hell to get that out. He should have waited.

At home I took a small rod and used super glue to adhere it to the broken slide. Then I soaked the entire water pipe in hot water, waited a few minutes, and give the rod a quick twisting pull. Out came the broken remnants leaving a perfectly good water pipe minus a slide.

I just ordered a new slide from Smokewire and should be smoking with it by the weekend when he drops over to watch the games. Perfect timing.

Sweet!!!!!!!! Never underestimate the ingenuity of a stoner. Make sure and smoke a bong with the friend it came from. Don't tell em' it's his and see if he recognizes it, lol.

Then he'll surely make you keep it. Friends for life.
