Gee, where have I seen this before? Actually, you just have to keep the right perspective to see the humor - blatant hypocrisy is pretty amusing. After all, what could be funnier than someone who makes a religion out of attacking religion, or is so "liberal" that they refuse to allow for the beliefs of others?

Please explain how I make a religion of attacking religion. My posting of (IMO) humourous pics on this topic is not an attack, it is merely me, posting something that I find funny. Now, if someone whinges about it, then yeah, I may post some more up.

"Refuse to allow for the beliefs of others"? Believe whatever you believe, a bit of mockery isn't hurting you, or are you so insecure in these beliefs that they must be wrapped up in cotton wool lest they crumble beneath the weight of electronically transmitted japes.

Do I have to respect the beliefs of the flat earth society?

Harry..........why do you keep trying to ram your atheism down everyones throat? Not that I prescribe to any religion but I do respect the fact that people have beliefs, right or wrong. Besides that, what you post just isn't funny. Perhaps you should start your own "super duper I don't believe in God and anyone that does is an idiot" thread?

There was a recent debate with a pro-evolutionist vs. creationist, and the topic was whether or not creationism is a valid scientific model. While I don't even agree with this debate taking place due to giving the creationist an undeserved, small degree of credibility just even by giving him a voice - It is accepted fact in the mainstream scientific community that creationism is bogus - pseudo-science that undermines the many lifetimes spent by those individuals dedicating their lives to researching evolution, the laws of physics and geology. It's like telling a respected scientist that the Earth is FLAT. Just like as Harry so graciously implied.

In the debate, the pro-evolutionist cites bits from the vast trove of scientific literature with evidence of proof of evolution. In contrasts, the creationist quoted the bible.

From a scientific standpoint setting all beliefs aside, this is laughable.

Therefore, Harry's picture was pretty damn funny. And last I checked, this was the Super Duper Funny Picture Thread Part III.
