Man, I wasn't sure what fluorite was so I went and looked it up...seems like a real cool stone. That is a very nice necklace, one of the best I've ever seen. Is that your own, or a photo you found? Please don't answer if you think that might some how compromise your security.
edit: I notice the fluorite was shaped into the mushroom, do you know if it is a stone that's easy to shape with grinding tools?
Allow me to Geologise a little:
Flourite is 4 on Moh's hardness scale, the scale isn't exact and doesn't go up in entirely regular increments but is a good way to help identifyu minerals in the field. It measures what's essentially "scratch power" rather than what most people would think of as hardness (e.g. Diamond [hardess 10] can scratch steel [hardness 5.5] but hit them together and the diamond will shatter) flourite shouldn't be that difficult to shape with a steel file/similar surface. red sandpaper is hardness 7-8.
Flourite can be scratched by steel (even things like keys) so faceted stones don't really exist because they'd scuff to easily, smoothed shapes are pretty common, Blue John (Name originating from a french description of it's colour "bleu-jaune" meaning "Blue-Yellow" in refence to it's colour) is the only really expensive flourite I could name and that's because it's only found in one place (though similar colours are found e.g. in china) flourite is coloured by other minerals within it meaning it comes in a range of potential colours.
Edit: Said it was cheap, look at how big a piece ebay will get you for $40
