KTVU announced the names of the pilots in the asiana 214 air crash, apparently provided to them by a 12 year old and vetted by nobody.
after reading the names aloud on the air, KTVU promptly issued a retraction and an apology.

and Asiana Airlines keeps repeating that this joke has destroyed the reputation of their pilots & crew, REALLY??? and all the while I figured that missin' the fuckin' runway was the icing on the cake.......
