Super-cramped auto indoor first-time grow

Here's 3-4 weeks into flowering one Nirvana Sky and one Annapurna indoors under a 400w hps in 3 gal pots of coco/perlite. Nutes have been only cns17 grow/bloom with tap water ph'd to 5.8ish.

nirvana sky, weird leaves curling up and some yellowing.... what kind of deficiency might this be?

Sorry about the picture angles. Thanks for any help with the deficiency. They are way too big for this little cab but we will see how it turns out.

that is proper difficult to see your plants on a side view lol

they look a little heat stressed the fact the leaves are canoeing upwards and your leaf margins are curling is a sign that they maybe a little hot

other than that they look the tits

how tall are they just for future reference??

I'm not sure there is much I can do about the heat issue

I don't have a measuring device on-hand but I would estimate them at around 3.5ft from the bottom of the pot.

The Nirvana Sky looks wicked mate, you are in for a real treat, flavour, and high is nothing short of amazing. Its a real creeper high so be carefull

I agree with scotty, it looks like heat stress and that is never good. Can easily accelerate and lead to a lot of different nute lock outs, just keep an eye on the girls and make sure to post some more pictures, Nirvana Sky is an amazing strain!

Very pleased to see ur plants in indoor conditions...
well fist of all be carefull to temperature, it is obvously too high, then, try to cut some tops if ur plants are too high coz on the last picture we can easy see that the buds were burned by the lamp!!!
than if u can remove some branches from the bottom to bring some extra light and also try to spread some branch, push to the side to bring more light to the buds...
those plants needs some good flowering nutrients... and becarefull cause they will grow more...
I personaly think that ur box can only work for one single super auto plant....

If I top it now won't it just end up taking up more horizontal space? Obviously it would better to just have one super-auto in the box in hindsight, but what can I do now to maximize yield while still keeping both of the plants in the box? I've been giving them cns17 bloom which is a flowering nute.... what do you mean by they need some good flowering nutrients? Some additives to supplement the base nute?

Will the top getting burned by the light affect the rest of the plant eventually? Can I just leave it and when I harvest the top will just be kinda worthless?

it's hard to tell from the pictures, but is the top thats getting burnt much higher than the rest of the branches? I'd snip it off down to a level that will avoid the heat.

I think if that top is left and is continually being burnt it will stress the plant out,

If you don't want to cut it off, you could snap it over/tie it over (it will heal in a few days and continue budding up)

If you can't raise your light any higher and have some extra funds to hand, an air-cooled reflector is a good option.

The top is a little higher than the other branches on that plant, but the other plant's tops have caught up with it and they aren't getting yellowed so I guess this particular annapurna can take the light/heat better.

It's already a cooltube attached to the cab with an inline duct fan. I guess I could spring for an inline fan or something there but the noise would be pretty intense.

If I cut the top, it will split and grow back with more tops, which will eventually need to be cut again, right? I guess I just don't see how cutting the top is a long-term solution and may just result in limiting the horizontal space even more.

Ahh thats strange, I have a aircooler reflector - not a cooltube but the ones with a flat glass panel at the bottom and my plants can pretty much touch it without getting burnt

I would think this far into flowering, if you removed that top you wouldn't have it form another two tops, like you would see on a plant in veg.

Your plant would just put it's flowering energy into the other budsites/colas

Had to cut these early and they pretty much went to waste

I hope to try a single one of these super autos in this cab in the future.

Why the early chop, sorry took me so long to see this thread, the deficiency you were experiencing looks like phosphorus deff, to me... very vital for flowering, watch that next time, MAN sucks to hear this ended those looked very very promising!
