Our school district bought golf course adjacent to The HS etc. but currently it’s in limbo, it abuts the 1000 acre + quarry area I ride in often, both are great places to ride just down the hill from me :) - man does a course go bad fast !

Chasing The Present
Just got done mowing the lawn and I’m certain I’m going to need to again, wild it’s November & a significant amount of leafs are still on most the trees

Almost nothing smells better, long day of hard work outside man I’m looking forwards to dinner

Fresh garden peppers roasted up, add garlic & olive oil oh man so so good as a topper for sandwiches, wraps, steak…. - anything savory

Looking great for November, gonna wash down the outdoor Durlumbo with pressure tomorrow from below & all around, clean off most the remaining bugs & clean up all the flowers then gonna let it ride till Mid November or later, looking to harvest after first snow

Chasing The Present
Too funny; so my girls are outside playing all day yesterday @ the hood & at end / nearing dinner they were across the street with the boys - 5 & 4 year olds, both my kids come home for dinner with chocolate on their face; we’re like who’s feeding you candy…? After a bit of back & forth they admit Mason had a stash….

The 5 year old has a carved out pumpkin outside filled up with candy….🤣

This morning waiting for the bus his grandfather is looking @ for him (he puts him on the bus every morning) and we see him on the front porch raiding his stash - we watch the grandfather walking @ the corner about to catch him, he wraps up just in time to get the lid back on & walk by him like nothing happened, watching this from our porch is comedy bit funny, only better…

Now We’re just wondering when / if we should tell the parents or wait, they are friends of ours making it all the funnier; I think we’ll hold off on that text & let the story unravel…I wonder how much he’s got in there - haha…

Me telling the story does no justice, Mason is the cutest little boy with a huge Afro of curls (red head) with a face of pure mischief & freckles - what a hilarious way to start the day - lmao

I was a golf course worker on the grounds and loved the zen feel of a well kept course.
Here ya go fellas; pic from Green Lakes Course a handful of weeks ago showing beauty of the area & one of the trees changing from Camillus CC not too far away either more recently

Hibiscus has no clue it’s November

Snapdragons, straw flowers, coneflowers, zinnias etc have all decided to pretty much volunteer everywhere and they too aren’t aware it’s November, here’s one tiny area of overflow

Those golf course photos do justice to it, beautiful calm scenery.

I've never had a hibiscus plant they are quite attractive. I am going to look into them.
Snapdragons are the last flowering plants in my yard, there a few scattered here and there still flowering.

Tomorrow will be the highest temp left for the year 7C/44F. Next week we get into negative numbers and it's all downhill after that.

Have to get out into the sunroom tomorrow and mix up my indoor veg mix(50L) for this indoor season. I don't like working outside when it's cold, it's hard on my spinal issues but there are less gnats about. Gnats are a problem here in my area, have to be careful and not invite them in. Well, at least try.
