Well, upon rereading my original post, I believe I may have been a bit abrasive in my response...I apologize alk_loid. I just want the best most accurate info available to help new growers. I'm new to the whole online community and I will be working on my manners

Your post was fine. There were a couple of others who I'll not name though, who were the ones I felt were being negative. I replied to yours though because it was a good point from which to make the point I was making. Near as I can tell though, your manners are fine.

the potanist- i noticed this thread is going thru the debate/argument stage, i've skipped thru to the end

put your filter in your box/room so your fan can PULL air thru filter (that's what they're designed for) your fan can be in room or out, doesn't really matter BUT the closer your fan is to your filter will be best
i have my carbon filter/scrubber connected directly to my fan with a collar pulling air out of room
