pharma, i wouldnt recommend a 100a sub on 6 awg wire.
especially being a grow would be considered a continuous load. (3+hrs of use)
i, personally, wouldnt go any lower than #3awg feeding a 100a sub.
but thats just me.

I'd take your advice any day, Frank. I guess I know which online wire size calculator not to use again.

Gawd I hate how a general anesthetic fucks with the memory. I had another surgery a few months ago, five hours of general anesthetic, and stuff that used to be there just isn't there anymore. ...probably best if I leave wire size and code questions to others from now on.

nothing wrong with the pvc inside.
the pvc itself protects the conductors from physical damage.

bay area,
15k @240v = around 68 amps.
but that is just lighting.
you gave no other info for any other appliances in the grow.
sounds to me like you need to hire an electrician.
it's obvious you dont know electric,
and i wouldnt fuck around wiring a 15k grow w/o experience.
just my :2cents:

total is 15k that is 6 1k lights on a flip flop. so 12k in lights but only 6k going.
so that leaves 9k for the rest.
its really only gonna be 15 or 20 feet. from main panel to middle bedroom thru attic.
