So here's the story, as you can see I am kind of an active member on these forums, posting many pictures of my grows. On a few of the pictures it is very obvious that it is my house, if you know me and been to my house. So my good buddy decides to put this pic on his myspace....

myspace has this new thing for your homepage were it shows your friends updates, and that pic was on it today, all my friends are going to know that i grow, I'M PISSED OFF!!!!! I am trying to get it removed ASAP.

in case you thought it was just other kids who might make the connection, cops will tell you outright that they actively search myspace for drug dealers, growers, and other people they don't approve of. You think there aren't cops who are assigned a desk job and bored?

reposting the picture might not be the brightest thing, if someone can search the file or encoding (i have no clue how to do it, but im not too tech savvy) and locate the myspace where the pic is, a cop can do it too.

I had a close call because of a grow partner-blabbling in the pub it turns out, anyway he gopt himself robbed. they tied him up and he had to shout for help-that led o police and it was only through sheer luck that they didnt discover em... The moral of this stpry-dont have grow partners.

i have a friend like that. but he wisened up. not growing, other stuff. he didn't go as far as posting up pics which is even too stupid for him. but if we were out, he'd blab his damn mouth about shit as if it were him doing it. he was so proud to show me off as his friend.

the problem is your friend is suffering from a case of groupism.. in other words, he's a friggin groupie. for him to feel of any worth he has to attach himself to you and although you want to keep things quiet, he'll talk it up so HE looks good in front of other people. on this site, growers are like everyone else. there are people to look up to but we're all growing or trying to. most people don't know growers and even if they do, they don't know. so, for him, you're the superstar. you're doing something no one else is doing. on top of that, he's not in that life so he's not thinking of the consequences because in the long run they don't affect him.

if he's a real friend, it will be easy to talk to him, ask him to take it down. hit him with the reality of his actions. he'll do it without question because he'll understand and respect you as someone he doesn't want to see hurt. that's what i did with my friend which is why he's still a friend. he got a lil star struck over the situation. he's straight now! if your friend doesn't take it down then you ought to tear down soon! and get rid of him as a friend because he isn't a friend at all!

No my friend the harsh reality is in the end it is you who got yourself caught because you couldn't keep your mouth shut.

Also when posting pictures you shouldn't have anything in the picture that can be recognized and comeback to you. People have been busted for their pictures just ask a few members on here.
