Strongest Strain For Low Odor???

Switcher56

Comfortably numb!
I think that eventually the neighbourhood will complain about the lovely scent though:) and then there will be a new law about it? so it might be worth looking into low-odour strains , i mean ` just in case´?
There´s a member here, whose name , of course (typical me!!!!) I can´t remember right now and they have reported that they have some sort of `cannabis odour regulation´ . I think this is in Oregon.
But, of course I have no idea about your personal living/growing location and so on :)
Not allowed to grow outdoors in Nova Scotia!

I'm not sure all smells are treated equally by the carbon. With a mixed crop this can be a particular problem. Carbon doesn't absorb like a sponge, it adsords. That is, smells stick to it. Making the carbon is a process of removing the vocs from it, so we can put them back. Like with cec, some smells bond better than others, and can push the lesser bonding smells off. This off gassing will also happen as temperatures change preferentially. The weather here just went from winter to summer in about half an hour, and the streets of the local towns got quite fragrant for the day. This seems to escape the notice of people that smoke though. We all no smoking messes with your sense of smell. Unless you are a smoker, than that's not an acceptable fact. So I will leave that there.

A carbon is for gasses. It's no use for particles. Such as smoke. Few carbons come with a decent particulate sock. Perhaps non of them. Letting some smelly material pass through them. Plants that smell in grow when you brush them seem, to me, to be quite good at getting through filters. I think it's some sort of dust. Like pollen(which is also a particulate a carbon doesn't adsorb)

Try to keep low smell crops that are not mixed, and keep temperatures in check. A chimney stack with some velocity also helps get the smell up and away.
