Strawberry from Netherlands anyone know about this variety?

I recently heard of a variety bred out of the Netherlands, simply called strawberry. Tried searching on the site but didn't come across any threads about it, although I don't feel I'm using the search tools to the best of their ability. Google just says it's a variety bred out of the Netherlands with notes of strawberry.

Does anyone know more about the strawberry variety out of the Netherlands? Thanks for reading. Much love

don't know of one literally called 'strawberry', but maybe you're thinking of 'ierdbei'? ierdbei is the frisian word for strawberry (frisian is a local language in the north of the netherlands), it's an outdoor strain based on erdbeer.

Thanks for the replies. I don't think it's the strawberry cough from dutch passion, maybe a bubblegum pheno but who knows. DNA genetics have it listed as one of their parents for a variety called Strawberry Lemonade. It's genetic makeup is supposedly Strawberry x Lemon OG.

When I searched online I found a description that I think makes sense, but I don't know the dutch scene too well to know if it's likely the same one in the Strawberry Lemonade.

"It is a much-loved sativa, but sadly, its genetics are a complete mystery. It is believed to come from the Netherlands, but the identity of the breeder is a secret. The Strawberry strain is a huge favorite in Dutch cafés, as users couldn’t care less about its parentage! Instead, they adore the gorgeous taste and the mild, pleasant high they feel."

djonkoman thanks for the tip, seems like a potential possibility for sure. I'll read up on that ierdbei erdbeer stuff and see if theres any mention of a connection. Appreciate you all for commenting and offering help. Much love
