Strawberry Cough x Hindu Kush cross.

Here's a quick report on a cross I made last year and grew a couple months ago.
I started with a chunky Dutch Passion Strawberry cough mother and a Hindu Kush male.
The grow went well with no hitches .

Ok. The finished product.

Smell. After about a two month cure, the smell when the jars are opened is sweet and fruity smelling. The Kush earthiness also comes through.
When broken apart the buds smell very fruity . A very strong but nondescript berry smell would most likely describe it along with a floral note.

Taste.
Hold on a minute. Im going to go pack a bowl and give my impressions on the spot.
The smoke is spicy on the first hit with a sweet candy/earthiness that covers the tongue. The smoke is thick and cloying with an incense-like hashy intensity. On inhale, the spiciness is a little harsh on the throat and immediately expands making a large toke hard to hold. Exhaling leaves a good hash-like aftertaste.

High.
Two or three hits gets you soaring in a few minutes. Effects are not immediate. Let it set in and the high is clear and stimulating. Not drowsy at all. At the same time, it isnt racy. Just a good clean high that allows you to do other things.

A few more hits brings on more of an intense high. Feels as though your blood pressure has increased along with a slight "ringing", for lack of a better description, in your head.

Overall. Ill try not to be biased. I wish the jarred smell was stronger and I would like the smoke to be a bit smoother. Granted, these are both factors that could vary depending on the method grown, cure etc. These factors could change with time as the cure continues. Iif I grow it again it will be better the second time around.
Overall. This weed at this time... 7.5 - 8 /10

That was an interesting and coherent report to read Capt. The flowers look tasty and your on the spot smoke taste test read as if i myself were taking a hit. Thanks for sharing and keep playing with the plants!

Have u had the HK at full go? if so how would u rate it alone
Yes I have, Kitana. I have grown it twice. I would say the taste is earthy with fruit undertones and potency was about an 7 out of ten. Not a super potent strain but easy to grow.
