those prices are insane. I've noticed most people I've spoken with here where I live are having trouble finding there smoke on a steady/quality level however the price is still right here.

thats not insane at all here on the east coast thats pretty much standard for a zip 400 to 450... some exotics go 600 to 800...hell guys on wall st were paying 1000 for a zip of sour d.....
Shit. Someone in the dirty south was/IS selling "the purps" for $50 a gram. ($175 an eight) and no he isn't giving discounts for anything up to 1/4, so it's straight linear pricing. Straight weed, doens't even look that awesome apart from the purple hue. My brother in law bought some, he liked it but said it wasn't that amazing (i was out of town so I didn't get to partake) But there is NOTHING here except for brick and shitty brick at that so I guess people will buy a nug or two.
He sells coke mostly but has this for his personal stash. And I hear alot of guys in his circle talking about it / saying they bought some.
THAT is insane.
So is $1000 for SD. Upstate ny (Orange county) SD is a bit more reasonable.

Prices depend on your target market and quality of product. If you live in Manhatten and have A+ stuff you can charge $1000 a zip cuz thats nothing to guys earning well over 6 figures...
If you take that same stuff to bumblefuck Nebraska you will get some great compliments, but you might get punched in the face when you tell them a zip will cost them 2 weeks of work...
BTW, I have been growing DP's strawberry cough for around a year now and it is great smoke. I would almost say the high is the opposite of an elite kush. You sort of dont realise how high you are because its such a head trip. You wont feel absolutely smashed like after some good OGK, but its a better smoke for an active day. Ya and the taste hints of strawberry. The smell is a little subtle for my taste. Maybe its because I grow it so Im immune or something. My friends say it smells great though...
