Stratching Seedlings?

Hello

one week ago I've started to germinate a few seeds I had (4 Baghlan AFG from khalifa genetics, 1 Panama x bangi haze from ACE Seeds), they all popped, I've put them in soil (biobizz light mix) and for the first nights I've kept them inside and outside in half shadow during the day.

In shadow because I thought seedlings where still weak and the sun went from winter to summer suddenly so it's quite hot, I'm trying to let them catch preferably only the morning and late afternoon/evening sun.

Now however the 4 baghlan look a little too stretchy, I'm afraid I didn't give them enough light. A friend of mine says I should put them in soil and leave out only a centimeter from the leaves, I'm not Shure regarding this solution, anyone has any advice regarding?

I'll try to attach some pics too (not too focused unfortunately, if you wish I could take some more pics).

thanks all

Put a fan on them or in a breezy location and they will fix themselves, you can also put a piece of wood for support like a skewer or two

thanks a lot for your advice Dime, well, the best breezy place is the place where they will grow and flower, up the roof (a kind of terrace, extreemly sunny and hot in summer). My only concern is they'll have full sun and all the heat it comes with, do you think they won't suffer too much for the shock? otherwise I'll try a better solution... so the option to dig them (the stem) in soil is not a good idea? Didn't sound very well to me actually.

It depends how hot it gets and strain choice, even big plants will get stressed if it's too hot.If they are in pots then the container will also get hot ,in the ground the roots willl not suffer as much. Maybe you can provide some sort of shade during the hottest part. Best of luck

Yes, you can/should bury them up to within an inch of the leaves. They also need more light to prevent them from stretching again.

There is a lot of information on this site. It's significantly less stressful for your plants when you read a lot about growing them first. ;)

Weigh your cups to keep from over-watering. The long stems are from low lighting just lower you lights to make them stronger.

ok, update, they are doing pretty well now, only one had a meeting with my bastard cat before I could put the protection net. Nevermind, this year i've put down too many plants I suppose, so if I'll loose one it's not too a big deal, but it's a shame, I would better give them to friends as present. So now they are quite well, the syem is quite thick and leaves are getting bigger and bigger. Cuttings just planted a few days ago, we'll see how they'll keep going. Only problem is rain! we had an extremely dry winter and spring and now, a few weeks fron start of summer, its raining like in november! Sounds another complicated season to me this year!
so fa so good then, will update in future if i'll take some more pics, thanks all!
