hey SS, yup, very strange indeed. would seem to me that the plant had some light issues. wierd light changes or a leak ya cant see. normal leaf there at the bottom of the plant.

maybe somethin to do with the time it spent rootin up for ya. Ive been havin a pizzer of a time rootin up the CC in my new OP. dont know whays up, but its pizzin me off, havent been able to root a cut for over a month now.

Im sure that plant will get back to normal, but id check for light problems

I know if you take a clone from a plant in flower, even only slightly in flower, you will get those single blade leaves for several nodes at least. If I can see correctly, it looks like there might be some trichs, or possibly a swollen calyx or two? This definitely suggests it's just a clone from a flowering plant. Will return to normal in time, especially when switched to bloom light cycle. My 2 cents...

Im thinkin this is a cut i sent to SS, and my mom is not in flower. I took the cut from a veggin plant, shes never seen 12/12. I havent even grown out a clone off the mom. just no time been sendin um all over the country. havent had any reports of this from other growers.

GIS, i though there might of been some flowerin light on SSs plant myself as it looks like it was put to flower at some point. thats why im thinkin light problems.

Strain_searcher – I had several to do that on me but they all turned out ok, I never did understand why they did that and steal don’t.

Wow thanks for all the great responses. She is in veg and under cfls. The other plants are just fine next to her. The fact that she even rooted is amazing. By far the best plant out of my last harvest of 5 strains. I think she will grow out of it too. When I reveged my lsd#3 plant after harvestong it it did the same thing but not so much to look like a plant in a rain forest.

I purposely developed a single leaf strain but alas, it reverts to "normal" patterns once bloom begins. So I can't tear out the shubbery just yet, wink!

Does this mean you reveged your plant after flowering to get that to distort?

No I had a couple mutant plants and keep them goin' until a good cross came about. I haven't re-vegged in quite a while, as its easier to clone then wait. They look much like yours including the smooth non serated edges and color! Hey gimme my plant! lol
