elderflower has a strong element of cat's piss.. which is common. Patchouli is one i would love to find.. a possibility out of bubba and/or chem lines maybe.
I agree with finding Patchouli that would be nice. I have a found frankincense before. The common terpene for Patchouli would be α-Cedrene Epoxide has a medium strength, woody, amber, tobacco, sandalwood, fresh patchouli aroma. It is commonly used as a fragrance agent and a perfuming agent for cosmetics. ( copied and paste )
Yes, Cedrene is named after cedar oil or cedarwood, i love all those woody, spicey smells like sandalwood and they are all related. Camphene is the primary terpene in cannabis which Cedrene, a secondary terpene, is related to.
Chem D has Camphene in its profile, and bubba is aften cited as a woody/incence melling strain. I did a fem cross of Chem D x pre-98 bubba which came out well and, whilst bubbs leaning, seemed to enhance those woody/incense tones. I am now making S1s of a nice Chem x Bubba plant and i'm hoping that an 'F2' type variation in the progeny might give some more plants with all these terps in different combinations. https://www.icmag.com/forum/icmag-v...erdantgreen/358897-chem-d-x-pre-98-bubba-fems
Most patchouli, frankincense, incense like herb I remember getting consistently was the SoCal Master Kush and Kali Mist. SCMK was more of the lemon patchouli nag champa style, where as the mist leaned heavy to the frankincense. Both translated to the flavor perfectly...
A lot of hazes, including the Santa Cruz Blue Dream, have the cedar terps. I find that flavor tends to be more dull than the incense like varieties.
