how many weeks do you think the Manipuri flowered indoors?Manipuri was from The Real Seed Company. Tbh if you are indoors the pheno I had took longer than forever, but would be perfect outdoors in the right climate.
I haven't grown the straight Zamaldelica so can't comment, but the cross with Kali China was great. Another one might be ACE Thai Chi, which dubi has said is his favourite, but out of stock at present afaik. I bet it's not far off restocking though as it seems to be popular.
Good luck, it's a worthy search. So many modern varieties look great but the effects can be like being hit in the hammer a lot of the time (for me anyway). Too much emphasis on THC content at the expense of the high imo.
MAC 1so its kinda funny looking at these recommendations because theres a lot of landrance sativa recommendations. which is great. im down for that. But But But
How about some more modern varieties.
Are there any modern hybrids you guys have noticed that bring joy along with the stone?
I second mac one. Caps cut from clone, not a seed version or Mac cross.MAC 1

i have a friend like this. it all makes him feel good!anything terp heavy puts a smile on my face i guess they all do actually. love the high from a good ak47 gets me stoned and makes my brain race and that always equals +mood
you know that Malawi has always caught my eye, but i dont think im ever going to mess with it. i would like to feel the raw power like once, but i definitely wont be incorporating that into my personal breeding! From what I've seen most of the modern hybrids have been bred for high THC couchlock type effects. The landrace sativa is typically lower in THC and provides a more calm energetic type of high rather than just getting baked. There are exceptions though. That Malawi from ACE can send some people into a deep state of paranoia and that definitely isn't a joyful experience.
I'm no expert on modern hybrids as I refuse to grow them just because of the silly names.
do you have any pictures of these? ive been wondering whos Durban to grow for years and never pulled the trigger. id be more inclined to purchase an heirloom than one of the "8week durban/skunks"I have relative low tolerance and am a moderate user, so some strains can really give me anxiety (for this reason I stay away from WW and Skunk crosses) or overpower me.
For me Durban, AK47, Blueberry and Bubblegum are very mellow, positive mood enhancing strains. They give relaxation and a very nice social high for me.
I tried quite some different strains, but in the end I always come back for these.
only got to try it once and it definitely caught my attention. however it was a pre-roll. so it was golden in color and probably "well aged" trim joint, but the high was noticeably different to me. felt similar to aspects of a haze high for me.I second mac one. Caps cut from clone, not a seed version or Mac cross.
is it true that it doesnt out-cross well or was that counter intelligence? lolI second mac one. Caps cut from clone, not a seed version or Mac cross.
