the ak47 can be put directly into 12/12 from clone and you will get at least and oz a plant in 49days flat... i have a 5x10 on half of it i got 6 mini aero tables that hold 4 plants per table so thats 24 plants under 1000w plus the overlap from the other 1000w so will go with yield per 5x5 area.. 24 plants, sea of green.. final weight was 1.8 lbs off of 24 plants with 0 veg time... they absolutely filled my hortitrellis thanks to my master training techniques =)... 5 plants ak with no veg would give you close to an lb if spaced properly, and yes they would def fill the screen out, ak loves to grow once you flip the lights... the bubblesour im working with can also go straight into 12/12...

And just to clarify ... you flipped these 12/12 right after they rooted ??
And was your yield from each somewhere around 2 oz. per plant ?
the lavender was topped once and given a week to heal, it was a real stretcher so I had to train it out like that. just shy of 2 1/2 oz.. but it was only about 500 watts. the other 54grams and that was straight from seed maybe 5-6 day veg once it popped up

super silver haze. cant go wrong with it. she will yield and be dank, always. also try Hawaiian snow VERY underrated strain.

I'd take the SSH over the AK47 any day of the week. The right pheno will yield a ton.
SSH deserves the hype, AK doesn't.

whats the average finishing time for the RIGHT SSH pheno ?? And what breeder can we get it from ??
How many weeks does it finish in ??
How tall are the plants when you flip em ??

I just remembered Knospe's (RIP - not the current user named Knospe) special Jack Flash cut "jaggen" - never grown it myself but I have a thread in my subscriptions called
"2 sqm 1200w cogr slabs 48x "Jack Flash specialpheno cuttings" by Rapigator - unfortunately the thread is now dead. The stretch was awesome - they grew to more than 1m and the colas were huge.
I know people are still growing this cutting here and there.

Hell yes you can flower straight from rooted clone. That's the only way I grow. I root in 1 by 1 rockwool cubes for 12-14 days. I grow in rockwool ebb/flow and in promix. The secret here is numbers. I usually put 36 clones under one 600 watt hps. In promix I put 4 clones in a 4 gallon grow container, and pack 9 of those containers under one light. You need nice clones.....no runt clones. I usually cut 50 nice clones and take the 36 best.
I normally punch out 14-17 ounces per light per 8-9 weeks in promix, and way more in rockwool. Clone 2 weeks before you harvest and keep the cycle running like clockwork. It's all about grams per watt per week/month/year. Super easy harvest too. None of that nasty undergrowth to mess with. I bend, tie and train with strains like SSH (9 week pheno). I haven't screened anything yet but I'm sure that will work too.
Most top name hybrids will work in this method.....just as long as you have an early finisher. Many good suggestions here. I use a Cheese, Ice, AK, and SSH.....all pheno's that I've had to narrow down from seed.
Now a slow growing Kush is a whole different animal. Good luck!

Dreamer, I have K.O. Kush in my stable. Very low producer but killer smoke. Highly recommend for personal stash, but way too slow for ANY production at all. It's funny, because this is why I continue to grow in promix beside my rockwool...for my hard to grow stuff. If you do grow straight from clone, expect about 6-7 grams per plantlet. I just harvested 4 plantlets last week (all in one 4 gallon container) and got 25 grams dried. I'll probably grow it twice a year for my personal jar. My last harvest I took the K.O. at 49 days instead of 56 days just too see what the difference is. It's greener that's for sure, but untill a cure....I won't know.
Buddha- smoke a bowl and run that by again! lol
