so much of my life is based on her ... yes it all started from a seed pack of BG C99 in '99 & i know her inside & out how many F1's do you have & how did you get them?

I only have the 4 c99, and a 8 seeds of the dutch flowers Mighty Haze Candy.the M.H.C is a fast finisher also50-60day strain,so i hope to find a male in either pack.finding a male cindy would be great.then icould make some more c99's.this will be my first atempt at makeing my own beans..my fingers will be crossed,hope all the c99's sprout..i think the seeds came from HeavensStairway.Thanks for replying StarCrash,,ill post updates,when i get things started.Jimi

4 seeds are blessed few to work with, but they are still precious ...

IMHO you are best off propagating/using them any way you are able ... take the time NOW to breed with those genetics ... please , even if you end up with a single male ... he still has valuable pollen, so use it somehow & then see what comes up in the future ... you wont regret your actions one day when you are staring at a harem of amazing females in full flower!

i'm growing c99xnirvana special as we speak....C99 is as good as any other strain out there as far as breeding is concerned....This strain will beef up any breeding program....It produces a great sativa high along with full citrus flavors....C99 is the Holy Grail of MJ!!!! Loudcall....

Joey Weed has pic of his Cindy x NL here ...he was working with BG genetics originally....low , to non existent herm rate and extremely easy to clone , definitely do want to take Cindy or a cross of her for a ride this next summer outdoors :

C99 finishes in 8 weeks or less and is low in odor. NL also finishes in about 8 weeks and is fairly low odor. The combination produces a high yielding, fast finishing plant that has a super high and is low in odor.

My C99xST#4 from seed yielded about the same as the smallest C99 clone. So based on that I would say the C99 clone yields a little better. I think pure C99 is better than this cross. Very hard to improve something that is close to perfect. I've made also C99xST#3 which I expect to be better than C99xST#4. Haven't grown out those yet so it is only speculation.

Much thanks for finding this thread and bumping it to the top! FJ's 99's were identical to the old school GNO3 as I remember them. This has me rethinking a lot about selection.
