Hey guys,
I've been growing this strain almost non-stop for the last 4 years.It's probably my all time favorite strain.I've used it in numerous crosses as well.
The F2 are from the Gypsy Nirvana GN03 collection and very consistent but do have a little variation,some are a little fruitier than others.They take anywhere from about 55-65 days to finish but they can finish in as little as 50 days.C99 is a breeze to grow.The first 30 days of flower it stretches and acts like a Sativa but the last 30 days it packs on weight like an Indica.Mine almost always require staking,the stalks are very slender.The buds are dense and frosty.
The smell is one of my favorite parts.It has the fruitiest smell of any strain I've grown.This can vary a little,sometimes Pineapple,sometimes fruit punch.I could stand there and smell it all day.The cured bud loses some smell but if you break the bud open the smell is still there.
The high is one of the most potent I've smoked.A very intense sativa high that comes on strong and fast.Some people even call it edgy and it can be if you smoke enough.
I'd reccomend this strain to just about anyone.With some strains the hype is created but with C99 the hype is earned.

Hey JLP,

Your C99 looks like some very fine smoke. Have you tried Wally's or Reef's versions? I currently have both going and am interested in seeing the different phenos. I saved GN's C99 for my next grow. As always, Beautiful work!

Nice... and I totally agree with you. Cindy is the BOMB!

I've grown out GN03 Cinderella 99 and it's everything you say. Right now I'm enjoying your Golden Pineapple cross and I must say... it is delightful... a little more body and a little less "edge" of a pure Cindy but the same great taste!

Jlp,,, well said, and a perfect description,,,, heres my c99 x sour queen,,,, the pineapple smell is so intense it smells like the pineapples are cooking on low temps,,,,alomost a mentholated pineapple,,staking is a must, and the sativa to indica growth patterns you described, are right on the money! nice work JLP,,,shes a favorite of mine as well,,,,=)
a cross that strengthens the stems a bit more would be nice,,,, my side branches have to be tied about 4 weeks in as well...or they fall and snap from weight,...usually resulting in a decent bend, but i prefer not to gamble.

Beautiful job with the c99 JLP. The pineapple pheno is one of the best sativa highs Ive ever experienced. Great job on the report and pics.

wow, your Cindy is fine!! Great thread, smk rept. thanks!!! I just grew out 3, and cant wait to try it after your description...one is drying now. Did you find any w/ purple bud structure?
this one smells like fruit punch, no purple...






this one will be done next couple days, she smells the same as the one in drying. the 3rd, biggest of three, smells more like the pineapple. all three fin in 50-60 days. VERY QUICK, vibrant growth, the leaves on the biggest, were the biggest ive ever seen in my garden.

Nice grow JLP. It's always nice when you find something you really enjoy. I grew it awhile back for a few years, and really enjoyed it. I did start a few seeds of it from afroP... and they're still at only a few weeks old, but wanted to try some of his works out and see how it compares to what I remember.
Overall, I remember it got really better with age, the third and fourth grow from cuttings was the bomb, and over a year old all together. The one I grew had that lemon drop flavor.
I'm actually still growing things out with some C99 in it as well, P99 x BW, NLHaze x C99. It adds so much good flavor to things, and as you said, is one of the easiest plants to grow, and to take cuts from, and she's a beautiful plant to just gaze upon. I've had more potent plants, but she's no slacker in anyway, and holds her own. Would recommend her over and over again.

Wow, I have two Cindy 99s from the FS x-line which have monster stems. Not much stretch the first two weeks. Seems quite different.

yep you are dead right jlp ,, my c99 came from there also , and ive always been happy growing her , hasnt seemed to have lacked in the inbreeding , still the same fat tight resiny babe we all love ...
hey nice pix of the c99 x blackberry ,, always love your grows , seem to get the best out of each one u grow , good form ....
