Storing over 10 lbs of cured cannabis?

My first grow I am now starting to harvest Tangerine Dream and Kosher Kush. All plants I started from seed and was fortunate during veg stage to have them outside in the sun/shared with indoor lighting, where I grew them in 3, 5-7 gallon pots. Never gave much thought early on about how to processing and store so much until not needed to be stored.

This time I am doing all my bud trimming while the plant is still growing just before I cut to hang to dry, does anyone see a problem with doing it this way and should I do trimming and cutting in the am?

Mason jars I have a few but to put over 15 lbs in jars seems odd' Any suggestion please.

I have stored weed in those big plastic storage containers (from Walmart) and also in Rubbermaid food storage containers that look like giant Tupperware things. Mason jars are ideal but when you get that much weed, what are you going to do?

I'd use a vacuum attachment with the approximately 12 cases of 1 quart jars it will take to hold #15, or the larger size seal-a-meal tube will work almost as well. For long term storage I believe a (partial) vacuum and an airtight seal is a must. I have not seen a Zip-lock bag do this as long.

This works great with jars and there is a smaller one for the gift sized jars too.

:tiphat:
