So I guess reefer is out too because of the propaganda flick from the 30's called "Reefer Madness" which is what did the most damage in that it really helped spread the idea that marijuana is much more dangerous and harmful then it seems.

It's funny I only hate it when it's spelled marihuana which was the proper spelling when it first started spreading to Mexican and English. For some odd reason Marijuana seems okay and marihuana seems more pretentious some how, as if the person using it that way is trying to mislead. Oh well...go figure.

I use reefer in a satirical way.

It's a good way to say cannabis or marijuana while making fun of Anslinger and those scaredy cats of weed. "It could happen to you, or you *points finger directly at camera* or YOU!"

I noticed you called it marijuana again.

Yeah but that was in reference to the topic, not to cannabis. I personally sometimes call it pot and sometimes weed. As in "Hey, wanna smoke some weed" or "Hey, wanna smoke some pot". Mainly though I don't even refer directly to the plant but rather the effect by saying "Hey, wanna get high" or perhaps "Dude!....Let's get stoned!" people seem to know exactly what I'm talking about without me having to specifically or accurately refer to the name of what we're getting high or stoned on.
