Yea, thats usually how they do it for dog fur, they hang the dog alive and cut arteries in the rear legs and bleed them. all next to a cage of dogs who ofcoarse have no clue whats happening? Ok first off, i dont know where the fuck you shop, but i assure you that i dont own a coat of dog fur nor do I shop at stores that would sell dog fur.

uninformed. period. think again 'junior' major chain stores have been duped by the Chinese on this. if your faux fur coat doesnt say what type of animal it was made from, and from China, its VERY possible it was dog, or part dog fur...makes me shiver just thinkin about it.

Your cry tears and sign a petition. Yet in the USA 8.5 million dogs enter shelters each year and 4 million are put to death. Where is your outrage there? Were is the petition? Those dogs dont even have rabies and are killed , perfectly good dogs that arent spreading disease to humans. Yet you are going to going to bitch at China for killing dogs who have spread disease and caused death? Like i said, get your house in order before you go knock on anothers door.

As far as them eating dogs, yup they sure do! A friend of mine in the army was stationed in Korea and was able to have some and he enjoyed it. They also eat rats in China as well, but i dont see you trying to save rats. Alot of countries eat insects as well. Some consider cows as sacred and think us eating beef is disgusting as well as sacreligous. So your outrage over them eating dogs has about as much merit as indians signing a petition for USA to stop eating cows.

OK , first off I am a guy and I dont wear a fur coat. But since you're on the topic do you protest rabbits being killed for fur? Waht makes one animal of to use its fur but not another?

Dogs in shelters are fed? Wow, HBO did an undercover documentry about treatment of dogs in the USA in shelters and i assure you they are not treated as mans best friend. They are put in kennnels for 1 and 4 dogs are jammed in it. They arent fed, they stay outside in below freezing tempatures in a concrete kennel and die due to malnutrition or death related to their conditions. So i suggest you take a good look at this country and what we do with dogs before you go question another country. Here is a tidbit of what happens in the USA




An animal rights activist decided to go undercover to shed light on a notoriously inhumane Class B dog dealer in Arkansas. The dealer, known as C.C. Baird, bought dogs (some unwanted pets, some stolen from rich neighborhoods) for cheap, "sheltered" them on his property and then sold them into clinical research trials for a lot more money. The thing is, C.C. Baird was a businessman, not an animal lover. At all. He kept upwards of 600 dogs penned up at one time, most sick or near death, living in their own piss, shit and squalor. They did not receive proper vet care and in some cases, they were killed for no apparent reason other than having "behavioral issues."

The activist, whose identity was shielded, got a job at the dog shelter by earning the trust of its owner and workers, bugged himself with cameras and microphones for audio and video proof of the cruel goings-on at the shelter, and had to pretend it was OK to be treating dogs like shit. This, all in the name of shutting down this dog dealer for violations of the Animal Welfare Act.

The premise sounded great, at first. But watching Dealing Dogs was like watching Schindler's List, but for beagles. What the undercover activist saw first-hand was absolutely horrifying. Dogs were dragged around by ropes, beaten if they misbehaved, dunked in chemical baths, and ignored if they were hurt, sick or injured. They were kept in small kennels with four other dogs, forced to fight for one bowl of food, and sprayed down with freezing water every day. When dogs were found dead, which was often, they were hidden underneath a sheet of plywood and eventually taken to trenches away from the property where they were mutilated and left to decompose among trash.

I sat and watched this documentary with my mouth open, tears streaming down my face. When one dog, a small cocker spaniel, was punished for biting a handler who shoved its head to the ground, the handler decided the dog should be killed. The undercover activist witnessed the handler shoot the dog in the head with a shotgun, not once, but four times. He then said to the undercover activist in his ignorant Southern drawl, "That bad dog shouldn't be breathing the same air as the good dogs." It was at that scene that I lost it. The shelter was like a concentration camp for dogs, and the hardest part for me was that every other dog was a beagle. A sweet, shy brown-eyed beagle. Just like my own little Sierra. Apparently beagles are the most common dog used in clinical research. I did not know this.

After five months - FIVE MONTHS - of witnessing the horrible inhumane acts against animals he was fighting for and yet he could do nothing at that time for fear of being exposed and possibly shot - the undercover activist decided he had enough footage to bring a federal case against C.C. Baird and his shelter. After years of further investigation, the shelter was eventually shut down, and C.C. Baird and his family were forced to pay huge fines and serve jail time for what they did to countless dogs. In the end, this particular dog dealer was brought down. But there are more dealers and shelter owners just like him out there, operating their concentration camps, evading the Animal Welfare Act.

It makes me sick. And I feel I must do something about it. I can't adopt rescue dogs, just yet. I don't have extra money to donate to the cause. But I do have my free time. And I am going to look into what it takes to volunteer at a local no-kill shelter. I have to do it. For the love of my beagle. For the love of all dogs who do not deserve to be treated like, well, dogs.




So please , spare me your outrage on China. You need to pay more attention to what happens to dogs in this country that you can help. How can we tell China to treat dogs better when we kill 4 million healthy dogs a year and have documentries showing how awful we treat them.

So again, Junior. You need to be informed about what goes on here before you tell China what they are doing is wrong. Where is your petition for dogs in the USA? Oh thats right, you'de rather tell others how to live than clean up the mess at home. Typical american. How many dogs do you own?

NO, we do not wear any dog or cat fur in our clothes period.

NO, all the dogs that are raised as livestock in China or Korea for that matter are not necessarily mistreated. They are raised in much the same manner as we raise our livestock that is intended to be harvested.

The culture in the east is far, far different than ours. How would you like it if they came to the US and didn't like the way our culture was and tried to change it to suit them?

I spent years in Korea, dogs are raised in pens just like pigs. They eat them on special occasions. Weddings, funerals...it is considered a delicacy.

I love animals and would never hurt one, but I can guarantee that should there be an outbreak of uncontrollable rabies and one of my children was bit by a dog, I would kill it with my bare hands.
They do not have the same resources as we do here. It is very easy to say, get their rabies shots. A petition to raise money and take it to China and vaccinate these dogs? That seems more helpful to me.

Don't believe everything you read in the news and see on TV, it is sensationalised to get your attention and to fit their agenda.

Nobel cause I suppose, but personally I think we need quite a few less humans in this world. Honestly, we could stand to lose several million and not even be touching the term "genocide" yet.

Now consider the fact that dogs outnumber humans and it suddenly makes the cause much less important.

Don't get me wrong, I love my dogs. They're mine and I'd gladly kill any fuckass that decided to mess with them. My pets are considered family, just like my wife and boys. Anything outside of "That which I claim" (its a religion thing you probably wouldn't understand), is completely irrelevant.
