I don't know why I just thought of this, but I wonder what varied effects a bee keeper could get by adding some indica or sativa buds to the smoker, when working with the hives.
I imagine indica smoke might chill the bees out too much ha ha. I used to dabble with bee keeping some years back, out here in the tropics, but I quit the hobby after one day when I watched a man chased by a determined squad of attack bees, for a good 150 yards. I was really impressed that the man was able to keep up a dead sprint for that long of a distance. Of course these bees are Africanized, unlike the tamer cousins that you keep in your setup.

Not sure if it does anything or not, smoke sets off the fire response in bees which makes them load up on honey, this makes them settle down.
I've used trim, stem and leaf waste, smells great, I think it effects me more than the bees.
need more waste trim to experiment, it would be nice to be able to burn nugs in the smoker on every inspection round, an extreme buzz...

Bees and bud, man I wish I found this sooner. I've got some wild bees that took advantage of some empty bee boxes on my property. I just ordered my bee suit too.
I'm sorry people, my now Ex-Wife as of Thurs night kicked me out, she pulled the plants Thurs night out of anger, and I'm on my own.

I haven't gone through the custody yet, but his mother abandoned us, called police on my grow in Colorado and filed bullshit restraining orders for no reason when I was visiting Houston at my mums.I lost everything.....im a recovering addict and when I lost my grow and was back in the old neighborhood and severely saddened and I began using drugs again really hard for 6 mos like an idiot then stopped cold turkey and came to Oregon. Trust me bro, on top of it all I was gangstalked by anonymous after talking shit. bro there is hope at the end of the tunnel. I didn't believe it either trust me, but it will get better my friend. ill def pray for ya.
