While including some of lights under cupboards could also be simply utilitarian and assist you see your simmering pot somewhat better. Getting a shading changing strip for your bar is just getting to might it's truly cool. it'll fit right in together with your gleaming easy chair.

Go for some predatory insects. The'll get rid of the white flies easily. White flies are even easier to get rid of than aphids. Ichneumonidae (or parasitoid wasp, darwin wasp) is what you're looking for. If you don't want them in your indoor garden just give them a good home outdoor and they'll stick around. They love to inject their eggs in caterpillars too, so if you have some butterflies and moths outside it's likely the wasps will stay around or even come by themselves. There are reasons why diverse gardens have almost no issues with pests. :)

Thank you for the info Mr.Ghost.

Just a place marker to date the completion of the 21 day defol. I did not defol quite as heavily this round. My COBS get pretty good penetration so I'm experimenting with how low I can go on the stem and still maintain dense bud development. Not much of a difference but a little can be seen:

Always Something...

Always Something...

Fed the ladies at lights on this morning and found one of my URSA Optilux LEDs with half the cobs flashing on and off slowly. Driver failure I'm sure. URSA has responded quickly in the past and are already on the case since the lights are under warranty. Too bad I have to ship a 50 pound light from FL to CA for replacement. They pay all the shipping but it would be so much easier if they would just send me the Meanwell driver and let me install it myself.

Anyway, I have another four foot LED 5000K 321 watt actual draw shoplight fixture like the ones I use for veg and in The Alcove that I use over the workbench in my shop. It has been brought inside, the diffuser removed and it is now trying to take the place of a 640 watt fixture until the replacement arrives.

Like the title says, always something.

Sorry to hear about the issue with the led panel. Sucks they want you to ship it in for repair rather then send out a new driver.

Indoor cultivation has it's ways of frustrating us and keeping us on our toes. Garden is looking good aside from the obvious disruption. Until next time be safe and take care! :tiphat:

Thanks man. I really should not complain. A brand new light will be on it's way to me Monday, as will an email with a UPS Label to print to ship my non-working light back. They don't repair, they replace.

Update Flower Day 28

Update Flower Day 28

Four weeks in yesterday but had company in town so I'm a day late on the update. Nothing earth shattering to report. The ladies continue to grow and I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my replacement light. I don't really expect to see it before next Monday.

Update Flower Day 35

Update Flower Day 35

Five weeks in flower and the ladies are chugging along. I was lucky and the replacement light arrived yesterday. I felt sure I would not receive it until Monday.

Between the misses and I we got the old heavy bastard down and the new heavy bastard up. Even though my lights are on pulleys, they were never meant to be taken completely down in the middle of a grow.

Sadly the change out played hell with the canopy since almost every top got beat about a bit and now the majority of pistils are brown. (Me slipping off the step stool and landing belly down on top of the screen did not help...even if the misses found it amusing. Amusing hell, she though it was fucking hilarious.)

Anyway here are the ladies this morning. The canopy:

Thankfully that's the only damage! That's the same reason I no longer allow the wife to shower with me...the last time, I slipped and went down hard with the curtain landing on top of me. She also thought it was absolutely hysterical...I did not.

Full replacement rather than repair is kind of nice, minus the shipping time. That means a faster turn around time than waiting on repairs, I would be ok with that.

Looking fine in here!

Update Flower Day 42

Update Flower Day 42

Six weeks in and things are truckin' along. Used yo-yo's on a couple of stems today that showed signs of needing support. I'm trying to avoid the mass flop over I experienced on the last grow by not paying enough attention.

Update Flower Day 49

Update Flower Day 49

Seven weeks in and the ladies are doing their final chunking up. I will begin the flush tomorrow since all of these ladies are within 10 to 14 days of finishing. The Super Lemon haze has already begun to fade on it's own.

Always Something...

Always Something...

I've been watching the Super Lemon Haze lady for several days now. She has begun to fade on her own, but trichs are just beginning to turn amber. This morning I noticed several top buds with dead/dying sugar leaves. This situation has resulted in bud rot more times than I want to think about in the past. It's like the rot starts where the dead leaf enters the bud.

Close inspection did not find any rot, but I'm not taking any chances so she was harvested and rough trimmed this morning. She could have used another five days or so but she will still be some fine smoke once cured.

Wanna see something gross? Do ya, huh? Do ya, do ya? I hate fucking white flies. There are six of these two sided 6"x8" traps hanging above the canopy and both sides of all of them look like this. They have been hanging for about three weeks. Sure will be glad when this run is done and I can blast the room.
