Starcraft II: Gameplay trailer

I highly recommend watching the Starcraft 2 gameplay trailer available on the blizzard websites (starcraft2.com, worldofwarcraft.com, etc). If you played the first starcraft/brood war at all just watch this and you'll enjoy it.

yea it rocks , i had a thread yesterday on it but it seems there are few sc fanatics on ic.i was suprised they had that much done already i was just expecting at best an announcement that they were going to make it...

I have to disagree. I like to believe the races are equal, it's all in how u play them.

edit: I play on US East and US West since I am basically in the middle so I can play you on whichever server.

Wow, I still love my starcraft. I am good with zerg and protoss, ok with terran.
I was always playing those fast money maps though, heh crazy maxed out levels.
Very fun stuff I've had this game for a long long time.

Remember the SC2 gameplay vids are played at 'normal' speed - many people are saying that it looks too slow

I won't lie to you, I only really played the SC campaign, and maybe 50 multi-player games... frankly, it wasn't that great. I think Dark Reign had far more strategy, although only two races... and I don't think SC2 is really anything better than DawnOfWar, I mean 7 races people, and much more combat involved.

SC is just a resource whore game, rock-paper-scissors type of strategy is fundamental, but you need more than that.

Nonetheless, it'll still be really popular, and I will play it, but I'm willing to bet I'll enjoy DoW more.

The first SC became extremely competetive for the good players it seems. Tournaments are held often, especially in other parts of the world that play, like South Korea.

Anyway I was never that good... so I just played with friends online. Then I moved to WC III ROC and TFT, now I hardly find time to play WOW. oh well
