I can't wait to see what that Trainwreck comes out like. Few years back I ran GHS Trainwreck outside. Interested to see how close the one I had is to the original.
hey peeps! appreciate the companionship! going out for watering this A.M.
EVERYTHING is moving into flowering stage...some are well underway...yeah baby
Yes 12/12 means very little outdoors. At higher latitudes, the day-length can go from quite long, say 15hrs, to 12hrs around in six weeks. So plants have little time from the initiation of flowering to it being too cold to finish ripening. Closer to the equator, day length varies little, which can cause it's own problems as there is a less of a defined seasonal change, and this can interfere with flowering in some strains.Whats always interesting is looking at the sunrise sunset tables for your area.....in my area it doesnt go down to 12/12 until the end of sept....
and that doesnt include the periods that are hardly dark before sunset and after sunset.....
for your plants to start flowering and finish they must start with close to 15 hours of light.........

I've tried 13/11 and worked as usual.. I have never been game enough to try 14/10 as I didn't want to risk that semi-flowering thing and stuffing up the grow.I had this bet with a guy on overgrow a few years ago....
He swore up and down that plants would never flower with 14 hours of light......
After growing outside I knew better...... I ran 14-10 for some time....then finished with 12/12 for their last month or so.....
