so my photo session turned into a watering session..that's totally cool & now i know what to expect...i was hoping that them being in the ground it would hold them longer..you will never hear me complain about anything as i am so grateful just for the opportunity to grow..my tally is 28 in the ground that i consider to be potentially very productive plants...these are the ones that are the most work in terms of care & it's not even that bad ..TBH i love it...i got some more in containers for the time being in different areas & these are pretty easy to maintain atm..

this is the Headband x C99 ...i think i'm in love w/her >>>

Star, is it possible for you to use a large "pillow" type collapsible water reservoir. You'd still have to get water hauled in to wherever you situate the water tank but it could then be hooked up to a pump and timer, like with indoors. I googled and found a number of options. the most economical seem to be military surplus or thru alibaba. US sourced seem to run around $1 per gallon of capacity. The Chinese stuff much less

that's a great idea Ona ,i'll look into something... right now 2 of the sites have a steady supply of water and i use a hand pump into 5 gallon jugs & carry them to where i need to get...that's do able & the more i do it the easier it becomes...another spot i'm into could use a better system...we've previously had a lot of rain & i dug out a mini well in a spot that naturally collects water & hand pump that water into collection barrels...it's getting low 'cause we've not had a rain in a bit & the plants are draining my meager water reserves quickly

I saw it on some YT video from some golden triangle growers up in NorCal. They're often up in hilly areas, remote from civic water supplies so they pump from natural water sources (illegally of course) into those mega bladder things that then last them for longer periods. Part of the controversy is that when enough of them do that, the streams get sucked dry, affecting the ecology down stream.

even if you have to haul water in tp fill one of those big reservoirs, you could probably haul 50-100g per trip using a big wheeled lorry. Figure a days work might fill a 500-1000g blivet. that should last you a while at that site. a week or two, depending on the plant sizes at maturity? Put them huskies to work bro!! It's a question of how much is your time worth. haul over and over vs pay for a storage system that lets you use that time hauling water for other tasks, like chasing steer and deer
