The best thing to do......is fill in that entire field with plants. That way they won't stand out against the surrounding foliage, lol. Just a giant red blob on their flir, lmao!!

Kinda hard to tell from this pic. But that's what I did here. Plants went from the water's edge, to the tree line. That spot was about 40' wide and 20' deep. I was up about 15' in a tree for the pic.

I had a plane fly by super low that year. I had the bottoms cleaned so well, I hid underneath the plant mass and couldn't be seen.

i agree w/U ...towers/containers...i have one mounded row of strawberries...also put ONE plant in a container...i like the container because the strawberries grow out and hang over & down & they R not laying on the garden bed floor while they ripen(like the in-ground plants)

I'm outta rep and you can't get pm's yet. Yes the greener ones were right in the ground. The lighter one's you see in buckets , I was drowning them a little bit. I had hole's dug that held 5 gal pail's. Bottoms of the holes would fill in with water. I didn't have any holes far enough up the bucket for the roots to get oxygen.

So I had to take them out of the holes and go there everyday to water them. Not that it bothered me, I loved going there.

GG#4 x C99

GG#4 x C99

so i got 6 different c99 cross's & the plants are developing more & now i can start to observe some of the individual traits coming from the female side of the parental genetics...this one caught my eye

couple of mine have good stacking like the headband mother.

i've observed that the structure of the Headband has been dominating since the vegging teens of that group of cross's ...and that's a good thing because the mother plant was very vigorous and branchy w/medium long inter-nodes...she grew perfect that's i chose her
