Hey, if you're growing palm trees over there, you're doing pretty good.

If it's ok to clutter your place a bit, here's my jade screen of the back yard.

picture.php

Not trying to one up, just wanted to show what is essentially native growth of jade here. It's head high in a couple of places. I also have a pelargonium hedge along one window row. It's looking a little ratty right now but when in full bloom, it's beautiful.

When I first moved to CA, i was kind of stunned at how things grow here. I don't have any impatiens but they grow volunteer here and get three feet tall. Ginger, bird of paradise, there's even this daisy shrub/tree, gets around 10-15' tall. after a while you get kind of blase because there's just so much but it really is an amazing place

I'm thinking you're way beyond needing luck to succeed Star. But the best of luck nonetheless. Which of those interests you the most? Amnesia x C99?

Help a new grower out: what is MGTH?

I gather you have renounced your indoor sabbatical?

I just started 12 plants from seeds so I'm curious how you approach growing from seeds. Do you take clones early and put them in 12/12 to determine gender or do you grow them out and select/cull males when they show themselves?

Hope everything goes well, ID and out. Should be busy and fun

Take care,

Ona

mornin Ona:tiphat: this is just a crap shoot to see how the cross's look/perform...i'm intending various outdoor patches for these starts (with the seedlings hosted at home for a bit) i'll have to sex them later...this will be an old fashioned outdoor guerrilla grow ...'cause it's all i can do right now...MGTH stands for "moonshines ghost train haze" (which is very fine marijuana indeed)...

hoping you find something worth your efforts in every one of those crosses star. i think you will. theres nothing quite like breeding and testing and smoking your own stock. im glad your following up so promptly too. im embarrassed to admit ive put my own fresh stock on a shelf for a year or three before getting around to it... so do it up buddy!
