For motive which can be photographed with a small distance, this lens is absolutely perfect.
I use this 60mm Canon for all close-ups and macros. I really like it.
For close-ups of animals, such as a grissly bear, it is a bad choice.

i'm just getting the hang of it ... i have a tripod ..it's a bit of a project to get set up for good pics & i'm usually just working when i see i good image w/no camera around ..
the 7 day forecast looks spectacular w/ the next 4 days in the mid 80's ... i'm getting dealt a very nice hand w/ the weather .. the flowers are responding the best they can

the plant this flower is from is incredibly sticky and sweet-tart type smelling...
