Lmaoo...he should just get a trimming machine ...

prime buds only hand trimmed ... evertything else will get processed

the 4 main strains you should concentrate on for huge outdoor yield are ATW , DF , GG4 & Uncs C99 ..... you'd be set for life !!!

more advance planning for next season requires earlier starts and a dedicated 2 months for vegging clones... you are right ... a mono crop of ATW outdoor$ ??? wow the potential could be astronomical...but big moms are needed at just the right time ... that's what i'm saying

i'm still trying to figure out how your going to trim all this by yourself !!! :yoinks:
the trim is your main price determination around here ! if it looks like outdoor bud , you get outdoor bud prices . but if its trimmed up real nice & looks as good as indoor , your price just doubled .

that's where i fall flat on my face every single time ... i hate manicuring ... i need to learn how to endure it ...

ATW is clone only from way back ... the DF is sold apparently in seed form if you search the web you can find the source ... my cut of DF was gifted to me by ICMAG royalty ... i do not know the original source ,but i imagine it was just a good plant out of a seed pack of DF

they're both clone only ! , cannaventure has a DF cross in seed form , but i have no idea of the pheno's you could get from them . i'm sure the parental lineage is different .

The DF you have actually came from a guy very close to your area Star !

update

update

last week i started noticing some spots of grey mold attacking here and there ...it's pretty much going to unavoidable growing outside unprotected in the North East...what i was doing just picking and cutting it out as it popped up ... i should have had a fungicide type of product put down as a preventative long ago ...so i was kinda caught short-handed till my product arrived (which it did and i got the whole crop sprayed) so i've done all i can up till this point just have to stay on top of that problem...definitely hurts to cut out young flowers

another issue is the flowers need more time and it always make me nervous...another 4 weeks would be ideal & i highly doubt i'll get it so there's that...they look pretty good, but more time needed!

i got seeds in some of the flowers ... all the males i chucked??? i found some survived just fine lying down horizontally ...just having a ball behind my back...yeah i fucked that one up!!

another concern was that i did not give them enough nitrogen while vegging ...lesson learned for sure

everything is what it is ... i'm still happy with this journey and i'm learning the land ...i'd rate the crop at about %50 what my idea of a good crop should be ...

My 2 cents for what its worth.

I did a few hundred autos outside some years back. I went with autos as I wanted to finsih by end of Aug to avoid the troubles youre facing.

I ended up losing probably 70% to mold. Its a fucker, BIG TIME!

That was a major loss, still got 15 or so units but its should have been in 100's if done better.

I'll share what I learned and the conclusions I came to, and maybe some of it will help you for next year.

Wrong seeds. This was the biggest fuck up. Nearly $3000 in seeds. This main issue led to every other problem I faced.

Environment. The cool, damp nights in the north east here, lead to mold. The research I did on these seeds grown outdoor, after looking back at it, were all in south europe and california.

Then theres creating better airflow around the plants, defoliating more ect ect..

But.. It all boils down to the wrong strains. I needed something that was meant for outdoors in my area. Unless you have a dryer climate with a warm, late fall, its hard to grow indoor plants outside. Doesnt matter if they take 7 weeks or 11 weeks inside, they will respond different outdoors.

What I would do different is buy some seeds from more local breeders, do a run indoor to find some basic trates out, and then clone a few dif phenos to run for the next year. After that year making my ultimate selection and hoping having a mom still. Ideally the plats would rock inside as well.

There are strains out there that are super mold resistant, in the north east thats the first thing I would look for if I did it again, as well as strains meant to finish outside in Sept. A buddy has some iranian crosses from dr greenthumb in his backyard, they are like 8 feet tall and equal around and just about done. Fucking beautiful plants and this is his first year. He has a few mold resistant strains.

At the local head shop here they sell seeds from only local breeders (none of whom I had heard of), ones that have been tested outdoors in our area and have known traits.

Anyways, this is a stoned rambling here so hope that could help out a bit. The pics you have put up look awesome by the way, as long as the mold stays un control and this warm dry weather sticks around a few more weeks, things still may come in very very well for yea. Worst case you may have to take them in a bit early.. but they are big enough and have enough of them that they will still produce well im sure!

I only grew outside from 86 to 91 we only grew 1 strain and it was Skunk x NL we never once had mold issues. Stolen once but not mold.

.the mold issue is here, but it's not too bad ... it was expected, most plants are completly unaffected & everything been treated ... I'm already looking for the most resitant plants within the cross's i made ... i'm testing these fucker's :) as far as seed goes i could not have began this grow if i didn't previously make the seeds i'm currently growing ...lot of planing and growing time went into collecting the females and then another whole grow to acquire males then another grow to make the seeds ..it took one whole year before i was ready to do this current outdoor grow ...

no research other then actually growing these seeds in the area i want to work will tell me what i need to know...i've seen 1'st hand mold resistant strains & i know they exist..i'm talking the kind of plant that won't mold when the others next to it rot

every day of good weather counts for me... if i can make it 3 more weeks at least i'll have good flower, 4 weeks would be better , also i can process the less the prime into extract...the only real loss will be what rots, or does not reach full potential
