actually it's the hand watering that's putting a hurt on me, i need mechanized assistance...also i think i should have been feeding them a bit more because they are already cannibalizing the fan leaves
I'd feed them but if it's dry i'd go easy on the feed as the dry could account for some of the lower leaf loss. Give them some organic fert which is higher in Potassium and not too high on the Nitrogen. Aged horse or sheep manure would be ideal, otherwise cow or pig. :)

You could chop the bottoms off those 3 gallon pots and let those roots seek the earth. . .

unless you have need to move them, which I'm thinking that I remember you said earlier

Looking good Star, you are sure right. . . lotta work to pull off something like you are. . .

You always make it look so easy, though. . . nice job !

Remember you can always topdress if you need to. . .

just be careful to use materials that wont attract critters and that you know wont hurt your girls.

I happen to love quality EWC topdress.

in the future, you can adapt the organico recipe to your native soil, backfill with the exact mix, or just use a simpler mix. or hell ive had great luck with eco scraps tomato food. top dress it even. its not too late to toss some on now. getting close tho

i bet you could rig up a car battery or something... solar? to a pump and hand water with a wand.... its gotta be tough pulling the water around to each plant though. you know how your plots are what have you been day dreaming about using?

i'm learning about growing continually...hey guess what ? my landowners are very enthusiastic about farming, now that they've seen 1'st hand the beauty of the plants..they are starting to understand the true value of their land and are already talking about the future relationships

Im interested in how the yellowing/feeding issue turns out...

YOu may find the plants will not cooperate....

Its easier for a plant to translocated nitrogen from leaves than to pull nitrogen from the soil.....

IOW.....they may just continue to yellow......

That being said....make sure the type nitrogen you feed them is Nitrate Nitrogen.....which should be readily available to the plants....

I'm doing a rain dance for you, try and save you a bunch of work.
