Healthy looking plants, and I have a question about the wood chip mulch. Does it have to be kept clear of the plant stems to prevent stem rot, or is it safe to have in direct contact with the plant stems ?

Thanks guys good morning to you all..It’s hot outside yes I may have to water the containers and another truckload of mulch has to be put down...

Only 84 here so far. Suppose to get to 87. But they have been under every day for the last 2 weeks. So it will likely get to 90-91 if that trend continues. On the plus side the humidity is only going to be 45-50% when it gets that hot.

Dog had ear surgery yesterday so stayed home to keep an eye on her today, been working outside all morning and it’s time to nap.
