What measurement do you use to determine good from great?

The last time we talked Mexican you referred to my chicken wraps as gay:)
fire roasted green chile from the mesilla valley....also the restaurant should look like it should be shut down by the health department!

and it's true, wraps are the gay cousin of the burrito!

and all the best mexican food looks like bad dog food

I agree with the health department comment. The best Mexican food here; the restaurant is not appealing at all and everybody grabs their utensils out of a common container. Their food is good but I wouldn't how to compare to great...I've had Mexican food in Washington State, never from the more southern states or Mexico itself. My Mrs lived in Houston Tx for around 20 years. She bought tamales from a roadside vendor(Mexican Lady) She said they were the best she ever had.

Ok I'm confused, as always. Is it your birthday?
There was a cartoon back in the 60’s that aired on the Captain Kangaroo show called Tom Terrific and one of the characters was named Crabby Appleton (there was also a band named that in the late 60’s)…and one of the episodes Crabby had put into law to have a birthday every single day…so there was nothin but fun to be had…plus cakes and presents of course

I did get my coffee fix... on Sundays we usually watch the Antique Roadshow with coffee, also had Lemon Poppyseed muffins too. I never drank coffee until into my 40s and now I enjoy it. A few of the members have fancy coffee bean roasters and grinders, operated by computer, more than I can bring myself to do. Like the fellow you mentioned, his is fancy coffee setup.
I've had a friend bring back coffee beans from Kona and bud, always nice when you get an invite.

My life changed a lot after 2010, it was hard to accept my physical limitations. The surgeon told me he could not operate on me because it would be too dangerous and the results might help at all. I knew a fellow who did have that surgery and it did not help him. Upon visiting him he asked me to look at his surgery site he had over 40 staples and a terrible infection, the infection ate into his flesh and left a very large divot behind. All for no gain but more misery.
I've been taking morphine since 2010 and doing my best not to do things that hurt me, that has been harder than one might think. Sometimes it's very hard to accept physical changes to ourselves and learn to live with them.
I had a feral cat bite threw my thumbnail, that hurt. Better take care of Buffy.

Hello Jenn:)
Here's my new rig oldman. I didn't want a clock, timer, settings, light, etc. I barely...BARELY wanted a cord, thought about going old school stovetop for a minute. Settled on a simple 12 cup percolator.

And I just made my turkey pasta dinner :)

Sell 100 burritos in a day you are doing ok.

So I'm really curious, what is in this burrito UNC?

I'm from a place that has zero chance in hell of having real Mexican. We have a restaurant I like but they look at me funny when I ask for hot sauce and they never have any.
You’re lucky mate, we don’t even have fake Mexican here….. it’s all DIY tacos at home

It's storming out right now. Tornado sirens were going off and all that jazz. I stuck my head out the front door to have a look around and spotted a cigarette butt crushed out by my door so now I have to set up my trail cams to see what's up at night. You just can't escape people.
