my cats unfortunately don’t run off or mess with the raccoons here but they don’t mind to hang out with opossums.
They eat plenty of small birds and definitely avoid all of the local giant Canada geese that are paired up on the ponds and getting ready to lay eggs now.

I seen a video taken from a backyard deck of racoons killing and taking a domestic cat. I don't blame your cat for being weary.

Hope flower doesn't mind me posting a bunch of pics from my current chuck pheno hunt. These are all ssstn x blueberry muffin. Got everything from short and fat to tall and skinny with everything in between. Seems like they will all take on a berry scent as they progress. Some more sharp and spicy and others more smooth and creamy. A few a bit of menthol type smell.

Yesterday was a long day. Ran errands, got the tiller hooked up and somewhat running then it quit. Two big Ash trees fell on it and broke 3 welds. was going to fix it but got sucked into Sturgill and a bunch of beer n hash.. perfect end to the day.

Fast forward to today .. damn it now I need to fix the tiller lol

It's a Woods, made in Illinois, 60" that is run by my compact Bobcat tractor. It does an outstanding job despite the enormous amount of cobble in our soil.
