I don’t know how many generations, I don’t think they know how many generations tbh. We are talking 400+ years of hereditary land ownership from father to son.

It’s in a valley. In the middle of the valley is terraced rice paddies and veggie gardens.
Surrounding the fields and dispersed in between are house compounds and houses.

The family house I lived at was a old compound type. Walked with clay wall topped with baked clay tiles with koi carp cappers in the corners. Inside the compound are 3 house and a couple of sheds of varying eras. The original house is a traditional styled house but with additions over the centuries. Two more modern house sit next to it one is attached to it by a covered corridor.

Th errs a traditional garden with trees that look like bonsai but bigger. Those classic Asian Garden lanterns.some ornamental bamboo, cherry blossom trees etc.

Out the back is the rice fields and veg garden area. This section of the valleys fields are owned by half a dozen old families and the fields are managed by each. Some development has occurred so there are new houses and new families in there too.

At the top head of the valley are the ponds that feed the rice fields through irrigation aqueducts. These are all interconnected to feed each families field.

Each family must help maintain the ponds and aqueducts. As they are communally owned along with some other lands that include fire wood sources, bamboo, rock Etc. some of the land is rented and a dividend paid to the valley families annually.

The valley is surrounded by almost pyrimid conical shaped mountains very weird looking to my eye. They are covered in bush with some deciduous trees in the mix which add colour in autumn and spring.
Tell me more … How many generations is that? Can you describe the residence and property?
Ahhh that’s quite a lot of reading sorry guys.

Flower I can send you some pics in PM when I wake up tomorrow if you like

look for a product called microbe lift
Someone posted this product for fungus gnats and I’ve always got it on hand and use it regularly; it works. I think someone also recommended Lost Planet Therapy spray which is also an awesome thing to have on hand. I’ve got to order more because I gave my bottle to a friend. Good stuff here as always!!

Do you get the same reaction when eating the fruit?
No, fruit does not cause the same reaction as the juice does. I can eat an apple everyday for months and never have excess stomach acid produced. I don't eat as many oranges but they have never irritated my stomach either.
Thank goodness because I like apples a lot.

I sure would like if I didn't have the excess acid; as I have to take medication for it and the medication causes a magnesium deficiency. The magnesium deficiency causes muscle cramps. So I have to supplement my magnesium. I feel like a cannabis plant with a magnesium deficiency...YIKES

Look at that Star! It looks like Cookie with a net pot tied to her face, and they say she is one of the worst breeds to bring home! What do you think? Is she one of the worst? She's probably a real rascal, but I doubt shes one of the worst.

Before I moved here I lived down the road a couple of hours drive time. I lived on a generational beef ranch.
There was a mining town in that area called Phoenix... started as a copper mine in the 1880s and after the 1st WW it went out of business because of low copper prices. The house on the ranch I lived at was the school house that had been taken apart and rebuilt as a 2 storey wood frame home on the beef ranch.
The whole town emptied out quickly and people took with them what they could take in their wagons. It was like they got up had breakfast and left. The town was up for grabs by the locals.

Today there is a ski hill in it's place

Labrabull

The Labrabull is a mixed breed dog — a cross between the American Pit Bull Terrier and the Labrador Retriever dog breeds. Medium in size, energetic, and loyal, these pups inherited some of the best qualities from both of their parents.
Labrabulls are also called Pitadors. Despite their unfortunate status as a designer breed, you may find these mixed breed dogs in shelters and rescues. So remember to adopt! Don’t shop!

These sweet-natured pups are best suited for level two dog parents, so dog owning experience is recommended. While most owners don’t consider them to be yappy, they will alert when people approach your door. If you want a loving, loyal and energetic dog who will protect and love you unconditionally, this mixed breed may be the answer. Read on to find out if the Labrabull is going to be your next fur baby. https://dogtime.com/dog-breeds/labrabull
