You guys talk about cold 🥶 but I’m curious what’s the coldest your ever had where you are? -41c is the same as -41f but I had to work in -47c which is -52.6f

We go into the negative usually a couple times a year, but the coldest -

February 9, 1934

Per the list, the coldest temperature in Michigan was recorded in the small town of Vanderbilt. The temperature in Vanderbilt reached a state record low of -51 degrees on February 9, 1934.

But I bet that felt like a warm summer day compared to when Michigan was covered in ice -

Same with our NY friends, that's where they got their Finger Lakes

In February of 1978 the band I was playing with at the time (Scorpio) played a doubleheader in Hornell NY…The temp that night was -28…just to make things easier and quicker we loaded pickup truck with all my drums still setup and carried out with Tom’s still attached to the kick drum, snare still attached to the stand along with all the cymbals still on their stands…was a little tough not to wreck my stuff…everything else was unplug and put into van and then into club and plug back in…the second venue was literally just across the street…and I’m ridin in the back of the pickup to watch over my drums so they wouldn’t get damaged…Holy shit that air was so damn cold…took your breath right away every time you inhaled…my face was covered in ice from breathing and my hair was super long and still wet from sweat and just instantly formed dreadlockscicles…man what a beating we took that night playin the part of roadies…not to mention thawing out and playing another 4 hour gig and then getting the load out of that club and into the band van for the trip home…we couldn’t afford real roadies at the time even though we were playin pretty much 5 nights a week

I way more prefer the weather in Bc, even if it’s on the west coast and raining, I spent 15 years living on the west coast of bc I loved it there, it takes awhile to get use to the rain ☔️ One time it rained for over a month straight! Do love the winter storm watching, would constantly every Christmas be big storms and every year would have no power for around three days, almost everyone has woodstove and generators.

Well I don’t know about Chester but Charlie did great. 😉

Was a little stumble prone last night after he came home, but lovey.

Today he has been sleeping a little bit extra which was expected. Has a few bare spots. His abdomen and his forearm from the IV.
