I can’t stand trimming for too long.. hurts my neck craning it, looking down.

Nice poem

Have you smoked any of the flower? How was it? Is this one of the plants you kept a mother of? I know I know, I ask a lot of questions :smoke:
Was expecting an epiphany “I wanted 🔥 fire…I got the frying pan”

Me & Cookie went and visited family View attachment 19107481 View attachment 19107482 View attachment 19107483 ...she’s not used to crowds but behaved well

Y’all got me going with “glue” and “greedy relatives” so I will just say

“That is a very beautiful spread; not too much, not too little, just right”

And the kids were so well behaved!!

I may just stay put next year, listen to Alice’s Restaurant and enjoy a simple spatchcocked Turkey with Emeril’s cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and maybe some turnip or Brussels sprouts. Of course being here on Cape Cod I’ll have to serve up some cranberry sauce as well.

Finding some levados for the day after sandwiches is also something I missed this year.

Sliced turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and Mayo on a toasted levado is almost better than the Thanksgiving day meal.

Just like my opinion man….

“They all moved away from me on the bench there…..”

Arlo played at our local county fair many years ago and after he finished his set he announced he would be heading over to the dunk tank and all the proceeds would go to the Viet Nam Vets…..

I’m not shittin you, literally the whole crowd got up and some, including myself, RAN over to get in line. Five bucks a throw and I didn’t see anyone let less than 4 go (it has been a long time)

The regular guy in the dunk tank had some great lines and obviously been doing it for a while. Might have done standup is my guess. He could read the crowd and worked the edges like he was PT Barnum, Colonel Parker, and the Wizard of Oz all rolled into one. He taunted me so intuitively it was scary. This was BEFORE Arlos set. And his best lines were delivered just before release or mid throw of course. The sound was heavy with reverb and crystal clear. When he went down, he came back up even stronger and funnier if that’s possible……

I’m old and gettin softer all the time but THAT is the kind of thing I’ll take with me for the ride……

Thanks Jenn for the encouragement and FP for a place to share such stuff without getting banned
