Morning all. Chilly out there, in the 30’s and not getting out of the 40’s.

Gorilla Glue. Day 26. I’m wishing I had some tables in this room allowing me to grow more, smaller plants. Like 4 per light instead of 1. Big girls are fun and all but harvesting gets to be a bit much.

One of those things that make you feel older than dirt -

I was at AT&T today and had to return a tv box. The guy was looking at my account and said you still have a landline. I said yup (have an iphone also) and he said well if you use it don't get rid of it becuase you can no longer get landlines.....

Man did I feel old, we live in a world were you can no longer get a landline....I still remember the old rotary phone from when I was young.....long cord, no answering machine, when it rang and you didn't answer it just rang, and when you weren't home you simply weren't home...those were the days, a lot of people on here will never understand that freedom and satisfaction.

Of course we did have the party line...who remembers that? Everybody was always listening to each others conversations...lol...ahh to be young again.

I hate being beholden to the cable company…
We use one supplier of internet, TV and telephone. Pay a high price for their products and some of their TV service is pitiful. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for all our services but their TV service is not up to par.
Thinking about ways to cut back. See what happens in the spring after the winter TV season is done.
There is nothing on TV more annoying to me than commercials and I am paying them money for that.

Can you feel any change for the good with your shoulder?

I still have a landline, I'm in BC. My Mrs has a cell phone,

The last time I had a party line was late 70s early 80s there was up to 5 parties on the line. We all had our own ring that distinguished who was getting the call.
There was nothing more annoying than trying to have a long distance family call and one of the party lines constantly picking up their phone and hanging up.

Boy was my train of thought somewhere else when I read that. At first I thought it read as landrace.... thinking you where talking about plants...lol

Too bad you can't put a commercial blocker on your TV.... I've gone the youtube route, and their adds can be nuts and makes me long for the days of TV style adds, at least you knew about how long the commercial breaks are.... some times they are 2x or more in length then a video you are trying to watch...(add blockers are nice when youtubing it)

landrace & landline, a casual glance and it wouldn't be hard to mix them up, especially if your anticipating plant talk. Something I'd do as well.:)

Today I have to take my soaking seeds and put them into peat pucks. Last time I did that I lost focus and mixed them up. I am going to be laser focused and see if I can get 7 seeds in the proper pucks.
I know it's only 7 seeds but my mind wanders. "what was I talking about"

I try to record shows I want to watch and then zip through the commercials.

I have never looked into youtube, I'll have to check that out.

As long as we’re not dealing with land mines I’d say we’re doing okay.
I know your probably right but just don't give me the opportunity to prove you wrong, I've been known to blow things up,
ok that was a metaphor, mostly.

You have a lovely looking grow room, so tidy and clean. Not to forget the fine looking plants that live in there.
