That pretty much describes it took …me six weeks of doxycycline which is really hard to take
We have clouds possible shower this morning. It’s a little bit humid to buck outside. I got to figure out where I’m going to make a mess.

look at Washington DC...they do quite well there.
The mentality of, "I want it, it's mine to have." can be found in the lowest of society to the highest of society.

I was contemplating, how as a young person there were many small mom & pop businesses and mid size manufacturing industry. Many whittled down by gov't policy over the years. Also by the cannibalistic nature of businesses.
The small mom & pop shops put out of business when Sunday shopping became a thing.
There was a profitable family grocery business in my town, they did a great business in after hours and on Sundays.
When the big retailers seen the opportunity of having laws changed to allow them to be open the same hours as the small family businesses, that spelt the end of the small family businesses as I knew them.

Will we eventually eat ourselves, not all parasites care how long the host lives.

I have a fit full tale with a happy ending ..this morning usual routine is to get the electric collar on cookie before I let her out as I was packing up to get over to the farm. noticed she didn’t have the collar on and started casually looking around, then I started bringing more supplies to the truck. Then I started casually looking around more then I started getting annoyed because I don’t like letting her out without her collar especially over at the farm. She could takeoff after a deer so I was getting more and more pissed off Also feeling the pressure of bucking plants eventually turned into a session of like very similar to how it would be if you lost your car keys right when you’re ready to leave, I turned the entire downstairs of my village home, which is already a mess upside down looking for the damn thing it ruined my morning it ruined my buzz.. Finally I left after an hour …I’m already late getting to what I wanted to accomplish. So did what I needed to do over there got back here. was 🤔 positive that I put it on her had to retrace hersteps outside, which I did a little bit earlier today but there’s so many leaves on the ground. You can’t see shit , but when we got back home, I noticed she went right to the rear shed sniffing around hard so I went full Sherlock Holmes and trace her steps because she did the same thing in the morning and bingo. There it was on the ground ! so happy ending. I feel better the replacement collar would cost me $250 what pissed me off the most .

My last tick bite I had to take doxycycline for 30 days and I was nauseous for 30 straight days. It was awful. I am more careful now and have not had a tick bite this season.
Pretty strong antibiotic and it does make you nauseous as fuck couldn’t eat while taking it and lost even more weight… I think I’ve regained about 6 to 8 pounds it fluctuates very hard for me to gain but that’s a lot for me off the all time low

I lost a lot of weight while taking that stuff. I just couldn't eat. I felt like I was slightly spinning, like off of alcohol, for 30 days.

Now when I come inside it's right in the shower and a thorough inspection. Not taking any chances.

Glad you found Cookies collar. Those things are expensive. The dogs certainly keep us on our toes.

another good thing about the desert,i don't recall ever seeing a tick here,i'm sure they're around, and even when i spent more time in the local forest areas i can't remember ever getting one on me..

when i got giarrdea they put me on flagil which is a pretty turbo antibiotic...while it immediately put a stop to the raging pooping 40 times a day,the side effects were pretty harsh...took more time to get over the flagil than i was sick...

I remember taking flagyl but I don't remember why I took it, I just remember the name.

I was septic one time and the antibiotics I had for that were very strong and did not make me feel good.

The Ciprofloxacin I took caused tendon damage in my knee. I will never take that again.

My Mrs. has been on antibiotics for years, she takes them 3 times a week.

I've had to be on Cipro and Flagyl before. I thought I was gonna die for awhile. Terrible side effects. So sorry for your wife.
