During the summer the quail go their own way(song) but in the winter they band together and I have seen maybe 50-75 in a group.

When I lived on a beef ranch if the ranch dogs killed a chicken they would tie the dead chicken around the dogs neck and leave it.
They are different kinds of subspecies of Canada goose. The really large ones or giants don’t really migrate.
You always know when they’re crossing over with the flying V formation and they are loud!
How does that do?
Sandhill Cranes are the loudest migrating birds I have heard.
The dog does not like that one little bit and will not touch a chicken again from my experience.

Cute lil chipmunk can climb the shepherds hook to get at the sunflower seeds lol.

They can also do a lot of damage from their digging. Had to replace my back patio due to their burrowing. They don't live in my backyard anymore but I do make habitats for them in the woods
