@gmanwho I consider you a friend even though we’ve never met you’ve been an inspiration from day one I keep doing this because it’s what I’ve done for literally 25 years and as I get older, I definitely get tired the market shrinks & prices drop & I do get nervous I don’t know what the future will bring…

I started accepting jobs. Nothing I consider permanent. Nothing that pays good. But my bosses are friends so that helps. Mostly sucks. Looking forward to paying some bills with not weed money. Trying to give myself some breathing room and not be dependant on the garden. Hopefully this will provide myself with the right perspective to pick a good route forward.

What I really want is a giant garden for nothing more than pheno hunting and chucking. And some way of making it profitable.

Also, basically, I refuse to grow shitty weed and I’m at five dollars a gram wholesale (to meThat’s the bottom other people considered it at the top )the outlet I have right now is good and he’s doing what he says but he craps out on me that could be It.. probably just a matter of time before he refuses to pay

and I hear u man, im 45 now an been at it since i was 15, the ups and downs. its good to view things with an open mind even if the reasoning is not agreed with or apparent. Sometimes wish i had a crystal ball, and then on the other hand im glad there is none such. And ya, Trying to hedge a position in all of this is tiring. But we fight another day, till im back to space dust.

It’s funny because running GG 4 I realize how good it is still it’s a low maintenance plant. It’s a good growing plant a little bit floppy but so what?

IMHO Mac it’s just incredible. I got her dialed in yet amazing yields, but you really earn your money when you run Mac one…. She requires a lot of work compared to other strains.

I have an aquantance that manages a large facility and he says they have been losing money for a while. My buddy with the small grow store says he has not ordered anything other than soil in a while. While visiting the big grow store we smoke 3 joints and a bunch of dabs and they didn't make a single sale while I was there. My buddy at the pawn shop says they have people trying to sell them lights every day.

I think we have to be nearing a point where lots of businesses and growers quit. And hopefully the market bounces back a little. But I honestly can't be surprised if the prices are halfed again next year.

I got some 2 gallons that are shaping up nice. They will be going into 4 gallons shortly so I’m going to be able to have a March and April run.

Agreed it is a beautiful plant. completely another level coverage. But im not really to keen to the meh high and the low ceiling of her. But everyone is different, and opinions are what they are. What is known she will get played out as they all do. So brings me to another question, and trying to stay relevant in the market ...... what do you plan on working with next?

It seems crazy. But look at the amount of clear beer compared to the yummy kind. And then consider how the biggest pot snobs frequently end up being growers.

Yes, I agree in at the end of the day. Mac is a cookies, but it’s a super cookies. It’s potent and kinda will knock it out. It doesn’t have the best most interesting high but it’s strong enough to settle you down at night ...
