Cheer up, my Master, it seems that the thaw is starting!
Here, the harsh polar storms that have caused several deaths, floods and destruction in the center and north of the continent (UK, Germany, etc.) have only managed to lower the maximum temperatures by up to 10°C, with hardly any rain. Temperatures have risen again, touching 30°C in the coastal and flat areas of my latitude, and 20°C (always in the shade) in my mountain range.
My area is on drought alert (and we are in the middle of winter!!!): If it does not rain, and enough, before spring settles (because here the ground and trees are already covered with flowers) this summer we will have restrictions on drinking water supply...
Right now (9 AM aprox). Good morning:
Pdd: the white lines in the first photo are trails of interceptor fighters (Eurofighters or F-18s (?)): lately I see many more than usual, in what I suppose are maneuvers in view of the deterioration of the situation between Russia and Ukraine (?)
